Ahead of the official Switch 2 launch, rumors suggested we could be seeing some official dual-screen action on Nintendo’s new console by way of a secondary USB-C port. We already know there are some not so perfect workarounds for using  second display on Switch 2, even your iPad, but the real question is, and has been for some time, when is Nintendo bringing DS to Nintendo Classics and how is it going to deal with the second display setup on those games? A new patent suggests something might already be on the works.

After rolling out its Pokémon-themed accessory lineup a couple of months ago, Razer is back with a fresh drop – this time leaning fully into a translucent white aesthetic. A little over a month after Xbox confirmed the release date of its upcoming gaming handhelds, the ROG Ally and ROG Ally X are now available for pre-order. That also puts an end to all the speculation around pricing. The ROG Ally is priced at $599.99 shipped, while the more powerful ROG Ally X comes in at $999.99 shipped. The standard ROG Ally, which comes in white, can be pre-ordered from Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. Update 10/14: The Assassin’s Creed Shadows Switch 2 release date has now leaked courtesy of a particularly reliable source – the game is expected to launch in Europe on December 5 – that likely means it will be right around then in the U.S. as well, if this date is indeed the real thing. This source also claims an official announcement will hit on or before November 7. 

Assassin’s Creed is in the news again to start the week, and this time it’s not for the somewhat controversial new Mirage Valley of Memory expansion – the Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows has leaked again. And this time we get a look at the box art. 

It looks like every official upcoming Pokémon project in the works at GameFreak has leaked. Sources who claimed to have datamined the developer’s roadmap from internal files have released details on a series of as of yet un-announced Pokémon titles, including the official Gen 10 Switch 2 game, and a series of other titles.

The My Nintendo Store Switch 2 pre-order invites have gone out and that means the first chance to score one of the new wireless GameCube controllers has too, but the actual Switch Online GameCube library won’t launch until June 5 when the Switch 2 does. Microsoft is shaking things up with Xbox Game Pass, rebranding certain subscription tiers while also increasing the prices. Amazon has debuted a bunch of new devices as part of its fall hardware event, including a new lineup for 2K security cameras. Amazon’s security camera brand Blink will have two new security cameras up for grabs later today – the Outdoor 2K+ and the Mini 2K+, both with support for up to 2K resolution. Additionally, we also got a new accessory called Blink Arc, which will let you combine two Blink Mini 2K+ cameras into a single unit for a seamlessly stitched 180-degree FoV feed. As part of today’s live event in NYC, the all-new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft has been revealed. Today could be a big day for the Amazon Devices team as it is set to take the stage in NYC to reveal what appears to be the next-generation of Echo devices (likely some Kindle and Fire TV action too).
