CES 2026 is now in full swing with new products all over the the place from many of the biggest names in tech. Next up we are taking a look at the latest from Twelve South – the Valet. While not the most unique implementation of wireless charging we have ever seen, the elegant new Twelve South Valet aims to provide an elegant home for your on-the-go accessories while keeping them powered up in between adventures.
New Twelve South Valet tray
The Twelve South Valet is a tray. A tray made to neatly and elegantly carry your keys, phones, sunglasses, and anything you might have laying around in your pockets that ought to return there next time you step out.
“Valet is a premium leather catchall tray with built-in charging. It combines one Qi2 magnetic wireless charger, one USB-C charging port, and a refined” design.
Featuring a leather interior in your color of choice alongside a customizable frame that carries it, one side of the tray features a 15W wireless charging pad while an additional USB port on the side of the unit to support a second device.
The rest of the tray, is well, a tray. A place to store your not so power hungry goods.
While we have seen gear like this plenty of times from other brands (like these Courant models), Twelve South is typically one of the better Apple gear accessory makers out there and I’m interested to see how premium this thing looks and feels. Or rather how it is going to warrant the $179.99 list price beyond a leather interior and customization options – the 15W Qi pad isn’t particularly exciting and the fact that there is only one of them isn’t either, but I have high hopes here.
It sounds as though the new Twelve South Valet will be available for purchase starting today, but has not appeared on the official site as of the time of writing. We will update this post accordingly.
