JBL’s minimalistic Quantum Stream Talk Microphone plunges to $25 (Reg. $50)

JBL Quantum Stream Talk Single Condenser Microphone

Buy for $25 (Reg. $50)

What we love

Equipped with a super cardioid pick-up pattern, this JBL microphone “is hyper-focused on your voice” so it “won’t pick up random sounds around the room.” Along the base you’ll find a control knob that lets you quickly dial in gain and even the volume of your headphones – if you wind up plugging some in. The same knob can also be pressed to mute your mic which turns the onboard LED red so you immediately know that you’re muted.

Just $28 scores JBL’s compact Go 3 Bluetooth Speaker with USB-C charging (Reg. $50)

JBL Go 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Buy for $28 (Reg. $50)

What we love

Big speakers can be a lot of fun, but these days I gravitate towards smaller units like this one. It can be a lot of work lugging around a larger model, and this one “delivers surprisingly big audio and punchy bass” despite having an “ultra-compact size.” To put size into perspective, it spans 1.6 inches deep, 3.4 inches wide, and 2.7 inches tall. That means it’ll likely fit in the palm of your hand. Other features include 20W of power, an IP67 water and dustproof design, USB-C charging, and 5-hour battery life.

Review: JBL PartyBox Stage 320 Speaker – a 36-pound monster that blew me away

Buy Now!

I’ve had the pleasure of using quite a few Bluetooth speakers over the years, with some of my recent favorites being the Marshall Kilburn II and Tribit StormBox Micro. So when JBL offered to let me review its new PartyBox 320, I was interested, but not necessarily ecstatic. That started to change once I began digging into the specifications and realized just how monstrous and powerful this speaker could wind up being. My suspicions were confirmed when this 36-pound monster arrived in the mail.

While unboxing the JBL PartyBox Stage 320, I couldn’t help but smile. Looking back, I think it’s because I knew that the size and heft meant that this thing was going to pack a punch. Seeing the actual speaker helped seal the deal too, with loads of easy-to-access controls, plenty of inputs around back, and wheels along the base paired with a handle up top that make it easier to roll it from one place to another. I couldn’t wait to start trying it out, so keep on reading to hear about my experience unboxing, pairing, and using this powerful speaker.
