CES 2022: The best new tech out of this year’s Las Vegas showcase
After going all-virtual last year, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will be returning to Las Vegas, Nevada for an in-person event. Slated to run from Wednesday, January 5 through January 8, this year’s event will be shorter than normal. Even so, we’re not expecting to see any less new announcements this week at CES 2022.
As it does each year, the 2022 CES event is slated to unveil the hottest new tech, home goods, TVs, and more from a wide range of brands. gadgetnewsonline will be giving out its annual Best of CES awards, as usual, denoting our favorite new releases out of Las Vegas.
CES 2022 is expected to keep up recent trends, delivering more smart home gear than ever before for your HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Assistant setups. We’re also sure to see the latest from the gaming space, with new prototype consoles and more. Not to mention plenty of buzzword-packed reveals touting the latest in Blockchain and the like.
This time of year is also when major players in the TV space begin showcasing the upcoming 2022 models, and CES should see the first of those announcements go live. So expect to see new releases in the home theater space from the likes of LG, Sony, Samsung, and Hisense go live throughout the week.
