Apple’s latest smartphone has been out since last fall, but it hasn’t received too many discounts. There have been a couple deals if you wanted to sign a new 2 year contract or jump into a carrier financing program, while unlocked deals have been even more scarce.

But Roberts Digital via eBay Daily Deals is offering a 64GB factory unlocked iPhone 6 in Gold, Silver, or Space Gray for $709.99 shipped, which is $39.01 less than Apple charges. Beyond the discounted price, this deal is even more attractive since it’s for the 64GB model (16GB is too small nowadays) and includes every color (even gold!). Roberts Digital is a Top-Rated Plus eBay store with a feedback rating of 99% from 567 buyers.
Make sure you protect your new iPhone. Spigen cases are 60% off right now with deals from $5 Prime shipped. Also, buy an MFi Battery Case for as low as $30 Prime shipped.
Just in time for Mother’s Day, T-Mobile is discounting its Apple iPad offerings by $100 when you elect to finance through its Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) program. The big news here is that every iPad model w/ LTE service that T-Mobile offers is eligible, including iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and iPad mini with Retina display. While we frequently see iPad deals of varying degrees, the wide range of discounts on all capacities makes this deal particularly notable. T-Mobile is even throwing in free overnight shipping today.
Here’s how it works: purchase any iPad with LTE at T-Mobile and use the EIP, T-Mobile will then apply a $5.50 credit to your monthly bill for two years (that’s more than $100, but we’ll take it!) as long as you maintain a 1GB or higher Simple Choice Mobile internet or Match Your Data plan. This works out to an effective discount of $132. If you cancel your plan at any time, the remaining balance on the product is due, other fees may apply (full terms and conditions below).
Here are the models that T-Mobile currently offers. Note: you must select color and capacity on the product page.

Back in January, I found myself becoming increasingly enamored with the idea of making bicycling a serious a hobby. A month later I was the proud owner of a Trek CrossRip hybrid bike, great for riding around town but also for longer trips through the country. As someone that enjoys technology, I quickly looked for ways to make my new hobby a connected experience.
There are a plethora of good apps for iOS that track and record your excursions. I found this to be particularly handy in keeping tabs on my progress as a rider. However, finding a safe, visible spot for my iPhone 6 during the ride proved to be more challenging. The beauty of having all of this data is somewhat lost when your phone is stored away during your ride.
Over the last month, I’ve had the opportunity to spend some time with iOttie’s new Active Edge Bike & Bar Mount, which places an iPhone or Android directly on your handlebars. Head below for my thoughts as well as an exclusive 30% coupon code.

Earlier last month HBO NOW streaming service arrived on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad. During the initial launch period Apple users could sign up for a free one month trial. Well, that boat has officially sailed. You can’t get a free month anymore, but HBO has begun a new offer of one week free trials.

Just sign-up for HBO Now using Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad and you’ll lock-in the offer. Once the free trial expires you’ll be charged the standard $14.99 per month rate. This standalone service is perfect for cord cutters since it doesn’t require cable service or a contract. HBO NOW allows you to watch HBO’s extensive library of original TV shows including Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley and VEEP, as well as comedy specials and full-length movies.

Every time a new USB-C accessory is announced the new 12-inch MacBook and Chromebook Pixel become a little less of a plight for people who can’t say goodbye to standard USB. Patriot Memory is joining team USB-C with its announcement of new dual-sided 32GB and 64GB flash drives:
On one end of Patriot’s new metal flash drives you’ll find USB-C, while the opposite end is a standard type A USB 3.0 connector. This setup allows for optimal compatibility with a range of devices including older Mac and PC machines.
There are, of course, USB-C adapters so you can use legacy USB Flash Drives with new USB-C devices, but they are a hassle to carry and can be costly. Other companies that have already announced USB-C accessories include SanDisk, Belkin, Google and Monoprice. If you’re the adventurous type, some budget options have started popping up on Amazon.
Patriot hasn’t released pricing yet, but did say these new flash drives should be available beginning in June. Full press release follows:

It helps to have a range of Lightning cables in you’re charging arsenal. The standard 3-ft length is great for everyday charging, but sometimes you need something a bit shorter, longer, or tougher.
Short 1.3-ft cables can help minimize desktop clutter and reduce needed travel space, while super-long 6-ft and even 10-ft options make it easy to stay charged when wall outlets are out of reach. But no matter the type, you always need to make sure the cable is Apple-certified MFi, that way you know you’re getting a safe and dependable connection.

When considering these prices, just keep in mind Apple charges $19 for a 3-ft Lightning cable.

As Apple’s lineup continues to grow, more users are finding themselves using one device at home and one on the road. Because of that, we are seeing more home workstations in need of customization.
If you’re like myself, then an external monitor attached to a MacBook Air is the solution to this problem. The struggle of this setup is the height differential between each display. If you’re someone that sits at a desk all day, this is an issue that is certainly noticeable (and annoying!).
Grovemade, a Portland-based company, recently announced its own solution to this problem. Over the last few weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to work with the Walnut Laptop Stand. Head below for more details and to find out how you could win one yourself…

They are also offering refurbished Macbook Pros (MC118LL/A) as low as $459. Check out the full selection. A 30-day warranty applies to each laptop Daily Steals sells.

Yesterday we ran a deal for the biggest discount we had seen to date on any 2015 MacBook Air (it’s still alive, BTW). At that time we mentioned how most discounts on these models have been modest (about 5%). While that’s still true today, we have discovered that Adorama is sweetening these prices by throwing in some freebies and offering a mail-in rebate on AppleCare bundles.
Below you’ll find Adorama’s VIP Exclusive pricing. To be eligible for these discounts you’ll need to sign-up as an Adorama VIP. Registration is free right now and honestly has been since as far back as I can recall, but apparently it usually sells for $149. After registering you’ll be eligible for these 2015 MacBook Air prices:

The above listings are all standard configurations. Adorama also has a slew of custom configured MacBook Airs at a discount as well.
All of these deals include a free LG Electronics GP50NB40 Super-Multi External DVD Burner, which is an additional savings of $26.99.
Purchase AppleCare at the discounted rate of $174 (Reg. $249) at the same time as one of the aforementioned laptops and you’ll be able to save an additional $50 with this mail-in rebate.
If you’re looking for a deal on the Retina MacBook Pro, Retina iMac or any other Mac, I’d suggest starting at Apple’s Refurbished Online Store.

The AirPort Express is by far the best wireless router for anyone in the Apple ecosystem and is a great choice for nearly everyone else as well. It’s definitely priced higher than similarly spec’d wireless N routers, but this is a case where paying “Apple tax” is worth it.
Amazon has it on sale for $79 with free shipping, which is $20 below its regular price.
Use it to setup a wireless network from the easy-to-use AirPort iOS app, print wirelessly, or AirPlay music to wired speakers. I’ve had one for years now and can’t remember the last time I had to reboot it. I know this phrase is overused, but it really does “just work,” which can’t be said for many of the headache-inducing budget routers out there.
If you don’t mind going refurbished, Apple sells an AirPort Express for $65 shipped and has the best deals for AirPort Extreme ($129) and Time Capsules (from $199).

The popular Roomlia hotel savings application for iOS and Android is today launching an interesting new
loyalty program. Basically, if you stay 7 nights, you will get a night free.
In order to get to that free night, the application will add up the amount you paid each night for your first 7 nights, and then it will credit you back the average. In most cases, this will obviously work out to an eight night free.
The cool parts about the program, which differentiate it from competitors, are that these are actual nights, not days, and the nights can be combined. You don’t need to stay 7 nights in a row to get the credit back toward an either night. You can stay for 3 nights during one trip, and 4 nights on another trip to get up to the 7.
The app is developed by a team made up of former Expedia developers, the application actually has some great deals that beat out some of the competition.
New hotels and supported cities are added each week, and users can book rooms up to 7 days in advance, for up to 5 nights at a time.
The application is free on iOS and Android, and the new loyalty card system launches today.

The Lightning plug end is a bit larger than the standard Apple version so it may not be compatible with tight fitting cases.
Monoprice cables are down to similar prices, but it’s going to cost you another couple dollars to get them shipped.
Newegg via eBay Daily Deals offers the Acer H6510BD FHD for $499.99 with free shipping. As a pricing comparison, it carries a list price of $800, generally sells for around $600, and today’s deal represents the best price we’ve ever seen.
This unit will project a 45 to 300-inch screen of TV shows, Blu-rays, games, computer screens and anything else you can plug in via HDMI (2x), S-Video, Component, and more. It’ll work on ‘any surface’ thanks to Acer’s eColor Boost technology and wall-color compensation, but you’d obviously be better off with some sort of screen. Even this 100-inch budget option would be an upgrade over a naked wall. 89 Amazon reviewers rate it 4.6 out of 5 stars.
