HBO NOW free trial offer drops to one week after initial promo period, sign up now on your Apple TV, iPhone or iPad

Earlier last month HBO NOW streaming service arrived on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad. During the initial launch period Apple users could sign up for a free one month trial. Well, that boat has officially sailed. You can’t get a free month anymore, but HBO has begun a new offer of one week free trials.

Just sign-up for HBO Now using Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad and you’ll lock-in the offer. Once the free trial expires you’ll be charged the standard $14.99 per month rate. This standalone service is perfect for cord cutters since it doesn’t require cable service or a contract. HBO NOW allows you to watch HBO’s extensive library of original TV shows including Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley and VEEP, as well as comedy specials and full-length movies.

Need an Apple TV to watch these shows on your big screen? Grab an Apple refurbished unit with a one year warranty for $59 or in new condition for $67.87 from Amazon (slightly less at Groupon if you want to go that route).
