Update 1/15: Amazon has dropped the price further on Rachio’s Smart Hose Timer and Wi-Fi Hub to a new all-time low of $63 shipped.

Amazon is offering the Rachio Smart Hose Timer with Wi-Fi Hub for ~~$75.25 shipped~~. Down from its usual $100 price tag, this device has been seeing frequent ups and downs in price since summer, mostly keeping between $99 and $79, with occasional dips lower like we saw in June when it hit the $64 low. Black Friday pricing saw it down at $78, which is getting beaten out here today by this $25 markdown and the third-lowest price we have seen, coming in $6 above the all-time low. If you already have a Wi-Fi hub and are looking to add more smart hose timers to it, you’ll find them for $70 each on Amazon at the moment.

Rachio – a leader is smart yard care products – is introducing its new Smart Hose Timer at CES 2023. The brand is best known for its intelligent sprinkler controller systems, most recently the Rachio Smart Irrigation Controller, as well as the smart analysis and weather tech it makes use of, but it is now delivering a similar setup to a much wider potential user base. The new Rachio Smart Hose Timer allows folks without a built-in irrigation system (or something of that nature) to leverage much of the technology and convenience the brand has been developing for years now and at a much lower price point.
