While it might be Metroid Prime 4 release day, today’s game roundup is actually focusing on one game, and that one game happens to be attached to the most popular console of the year – the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World console bundle is still on sale at the Cyber Monday price. Both Amazon and Walmart have units in-stock and down at $449, or $50 off the list price. This is the lowest price we have tracked for this console in terms of a straight up cash discount and effectively the only deal we have tracked outside of the gift card action. If you’re looking to get a new Nintendo Switch 2 under the tree this year, this might very well be your only chance to score one at a discount.
As for the games, you’ll find the PlayStation End of Year sale right here and some hangover Cyber Monday offers below.

Nintendo recently unveiled the upcoming Animal Crossing New Horizons Switch 2 version, as well as a FREE update to the Switch version. But for folks who for some reason haven’t scored a copy of the Switch version, Woot is offering physical boxed versions down at $44.99 Prime shipped from the usual $60 list price. This of course isn’t the Switch 2 version, but there will be a $5 upgrade pack – this means you can land the game on Switch 1 for $45 and the upgrade pack to score everything the boxed Switch 2 version has for $50, instead of paying the full $65 list price on the Switch 2 Edition. Everything you need to know about the new Switch 2 Edition and FREE update await right here.
After seeing some titles sell out, the bulk of Woot’s Switch 2 game deals are back to start off the first Monday of Black Friday month. While we are yet to get official word from Nintendo on its official holiday bundles and Black Friday deals, I don’t think anyone expects there to be any official Switch 2 game deals this year (at least not those prompted by official price drops from Nintendo). And that might very well mean the up 13% discounts we have right now on these first-party titles are very close to the best we will see ahead of the holidays. If you’re looking to land a copy for yourself or get one under the tree this is not a bad time to ensure you secure one:

Here we go! It’s Nintendo Direct day. Outside of the reveal and eventual release of Switch 2, today is arguably the biggest day of the year thus far for Nintendo gamers. Nintendo Direct goes live this morning, and it’s going to be a big one folks. Nintendo has not been tight about livestream events in this the year of its new next-generation console, from three major dedicated showcases for its biggest new Switch 2 game releases, as well as an IndieWorld and a Partner Showcase that perhaps seemed worse then they were just because Silksong wasn’t in them. But Silksong has released, and we already have all the details and a release date on the new Kirby Air Riders – today’s show is going to be one of the biggest Nintendo Direct livestreams ever and the first proper showing since Switch 2 barely had a chance to touch down on store shelves before we all scooped them up.

The next Nintendo Direct went official this morning. After months of rumors of an official, proper Direct showcase, it is finally on the slate. While we all eagerly await the rumored announcement of the September Nintendo Direct, we are also coming to realize this will be the first month without a single first-party Switch 2 release. Now clearly Hollow Knight: Silksong just broke the internet for a short time when it released last week, the eShop included, and that is frankly more than enough to keep most gamers busy all month long, but there are a host of other third-party games that have already and are still to land in September for Switch and Switch 2.
