Apple’s official Magic Keyboard is down to its best price of the year at $70 with rare discount

Reg. $99 $70
a close up of a computer keyboard

Joining the other official Apple peripherials that went on sale for your Mac desktop earlier in the week, Woot is completing the trifecta by offering a discount on the official Apple Magic Keyboard. The standard model arrives with a drop down to $69.99 Prime shipped from its usual $99 going rate. You’d otherwise pay a $6 delivery fee. This is the first time since back in March that we’ve seen any chance to save, while also marking the best discount of the year at $29 off. Apple’s latest Magic Keyboard elevates your desktop workstation with a metal build that complements the rest of your devices. With Apple’s latest scissor key switches, this is as notable of an option for using with a Mac as it is for an iPad, and a Lightning port on the front to top off the rechargeable battery rounds out the package. This may not be the newer Touch ID model, but it’ll still upgrade your setup for far less.

New all-time low drops Apple’s Magic Keyboard with numeric keypad to $96 (Save $33)

Reg. $129 $96

Amazon is now offering the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad for $95.98 shipped. Normally fetching $129, this previous-generation accessory is now selling for less than ever before. This $33 discount now clocks in at an extra $4 below our previous mention from back in January and is the first chance to save since. Sure this might not be the new model with integrated Touch ID, but this is still an offical Apple Magic Keyboard that works with everything from MacBooks to iPads and more with a design fit for your Apple workstation. It relies on some of the company’s latest scissor switches, and builds out the usual compact design for the added numeric keypad that also offers full-sized arrow keys. All packed into an aluminum housing with the signature white keycaps, there’s also a rechargeable battery over Lightning and a compatible cable included in the box to round out the package.

Pad & Quill’s gorgeous new handmade leather MacBook backpack and brief now up to $119 off

Brand new $119 off

After debuting its new Apple Watch pilot strap, Pad & Quill has now launched its latest Gladstone leather MacBook backpack and the Slim Briefcase variant. We have been big fans of its handmade leather carriers for several years – I still use its roll top leather backpack some six years later and it just look better and better with age – with the latest Gladstone releases delivering what I would call a very high-end look and a gorgeous attention to detail throughout. These well-made bags certainly aren’t the most affordable options out there, but with the discount code you’ll find below they get a lot less pricey.

WD unveils ‘milestone capacity’ with new 22TB and 44TB My Book backup drives today

While in many ways we have moved onto portable and external solid-state drives, WD is announcing a pair of brand new hard disk backup drives today. Prices on SSDs are starting to come down to some degree, but are still drastically more expensive than the hard disk variants, which can make for a far more economical option when it comes to large capacity backup drives and the like. That’s where the latest additions to the Western Digital My Book Desktop Storage lineup come in, offering users a serious amount of storage at prices that, while not cheap, are still a whole lot less than what a 22TB SSD would cost. Head below for a closer look at the new My Book Desktop Hard Drive from WD.

CalDigit’s TS3 Plus Thunderbolt 3 Dock for Mac sees first discount in over a year at $270

CalDigit’s official Amazon store is currently offering its TS3 Plus Thunderbolt 3 Dock for $269.99 shipped after the on-page coupon is clipped. Marking as rare of a discount as they come, we haven’t seen this accessory go on sale in well over a year. So while there’s only $30 in savings, this is the best price since back in 2021 on one of the most popular docking stations on the market. It’s also much more affordable than the newer TB4 version while still delivering much of the same features. Ideal for upgrading your work from home desktop setup, this Thunderbolt 3 dock delivers five USB-A ports, three TB3 outputs, DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet, and more. This dock not only expands your Mac’s I/O, but brings 87W USB-C charging to the equation, allowing you to connect to all of these inputs with a single cable while still powering up your MacBook. This has been a stable on my desktop for quite some time now and you can learn more about why in our hands-on review. Head below for more.

The back of the device sports three full Thunderbolt 4 ports capable of driving a single 8K display or dual 4K monitors. Then on the front is the Thunderbolt 4 host connection that can dish out 60W of power to a connected MacBook, as well as a 10Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 port to connect any other peripherals. We break down what to expect from the experience further in our launch coverage.
