Twelve South HoverBar 3 adjustable arm stand for iPad $60 shipped (Reg. $100)

Twelve South via Amazon is offering its HoverBar 3 adjustable arm for iPad for $59.99 shipped (matched at Rakuten and Twelve South just recently dropped the price on its official site in the past few weeks). On top of how rare it is to see 40% discounts on Twelve South accessories, today’s deal is $40 under the regular $100 price tag and the best listing we can find.

Perfect for in the kitchen or anywhere you need to go hands-free with your iPad, the HoverBar 3 clamps to “almost any” surface up to to 1-inch thick, includes an extra kickstand for desktop viewing and can clamp to your iMac for second screen set-ups. You can get the complete details in our review. While the HoverBar 3 has received mildly mixed reviews, nearly 50% of them left a 5/5 star rating.

Note: Twelve South’s site says it “includes 3 iPad Fit Clips to hold iPad (2nd-4th generation), iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini, and iPad mini 2”, where as Amazon’s listing says it “includes 3 iPad Fit Clips to hold iPad (2nd-4th generation), iPad Air, and iPad mini models.” While it is hard to imagine Twelve South shipping them differently from its Amazon store, keep this in mind while purchasing.

If the Twelve South is still overkill for you at $60, there are a number of others close to $20 Prime shipped over on Amazon like the highly rated Aukey options for less than half the price.

Well-known developer 2K is stepping into the iOS bundle game for the first time starting today. These app packages tend to bring some great value and the new 2K Editors’ Choice Strategy Bundle is no exception.

More on the Launchkey:

In addition to enabling hands-on control of your DAW’s mixer, instruments and more, Launchkey is an integrated software/hardware instrument. Launchkey includes an entire suite of software for iPad, Mac and PC including a brand new Launchkey synth app, a Launchpad app* for triggering and improvising with loops, and the powerful V-Station and Bass Station soft synths for Mac and PC–not to mention Ableton Live Lite and a huge Loopmasters sample pack.

With 9 faders, 9 buttons, 8 rotary knobs and transport controls, nothing comes close to Launchkey for sheer controllability. 16 multi-color backlit velocity-sensitive launch pads can be used to play drums and trigger loops without being near a computer, perfect for sketching out beats or playing in drum patterns, or triggering clips and scenes in Ableton Live. The velocity-sensitive synth-style keyboard mechanism is accompanied by pitch and mod wheels and octave, track up/down buttons. It recreates the feel of classic synth keyboards with precision, so playing styles can be reflected by the software as accurately as possible.
