PlayStation 5 Pro pre-orders are set to go live starting today. This is the day folks. The day many of us have been waiting for. The day many of us have waiting on for what feels like years now. PlayStation 5 Pro pre-orders will go live today directly from the PlayStation Direct website alongside the 30th Anniversary PS5 gear, including both consoles, the PlayStation Portal handheld, the DualSense Edge, and the special edition DualSense. Stock will almost certainly sell out, and quick, so you’ll want to be ready to go this morning the second the race begins and we are here to help the cause.
Update 10/3: We just spotted newly opened pre-orders for this new game at Best Buy for the Nintendo Switch and PS5, while Amazon has opened pre-orders on the PS5 edition.
We’ve already gotten some recent LEGO partnership news that has plenty of builders abuzz with excitement, like the LEGO Group joining Formula 1 to bring us more high-speed sets or the team-up with Nike that has teased plenty of co-branded mystery, but yesterday we got even more highly anticipated news as LEGO and Guerilla Games finally announced the official release date for the upcoming LEGO Horizon Adventures video game! As we reported yesterday, Sony is hosting the next State of Play this afternoon and we are here to watch it along with you. We knew there was going to be 30+ minutes of news and updates on upcoming PS5 games and PS VR2 titles, as per Sony’s official announcement, but it looks like an update on the PlayStation Store might have given up, at least, some of the surprises we would have been in for today as well (more details on this below). We aren’t expecting to see any new hardware, considering how busy Sony has been on that front over the last week or so with PS5 Pro and the 30th anniversary PS1-style consoles and controllers, but either way it all starts very soon and you can follow along down below.
