It’s only been a few short months since the 4th generation Apple TV with Siri remote was released, but it’s already available in refurbished condition from Apple’s online store. The discounts are slight, but they are definitely better than paying full-price: 32GB is $129 (Reg. $149) and 64GB is $169 (Reg. $199). Apple’s refurbished products include a full one-year warranty and generally come in great condition. Just last week Apple began offering refurbished 12-inch MacBooks for the first time ever.

Prices currently range from $1,099 to $1,489 with free shipping. The entry-level model typically sells for $1,299 in new condition. It features a 2304 x 1440 resolution at 226 pixels per inch, a Force Touch trackpad and redesigned ‘butterfly’ keyboard. Apple refurbished items include a full one-year warranty, are eligible for AppleCare, and from what I’ve seen, generally come in great shape with little to no signs of use.

Update (3/10 3:45pm): The first Roku-enabled 4K UHDTVs have landed over at Best Buy with prices starting at $399.99 shipped.

Roku is continuing its expansion in the world of HDTVs as it licenses its technology to manufacturers. After announcing the first 4K sets last year at CES, it is kicking of the 2016 show with news of increased expansion and fresh TCL UHDTVs. All told, Roku plans to release some sixty new models with its built-in OS system in 2016. Brands like TCL, HiSense and Insignia have seen steady growth since introducing its partnership with Roku. According to Roku’s press release, over one million units have shipped.

RadioShack (yes, they still exist) offers the 4th generation Apple TV and a 6-ft HDMI cable for $119.98 plus $5.95 shipping. The only way to dodge the shipping charge is to find it in-stock at a RadioShack location.

The promo page lists the HDMI cable as a $20 value, but that’s not realistic. For example, you can buy a similar AmazonBasics cable right now for only $5.02. All told, you’re looking at an overall savings of about $29. That’s the best current deal for this streaming media player, but we’ve seen it lower. During Black Friday it was $112 and this past weekend you could snag one for $100 if you were quick enough.

Even with its increased size, the new 4th generation Apple TV isn’t really an eyesore on any TV stand. Its all black coloring and same small footprint make it easy to tuck out of sight.
