New set! BF special

We mentioned in our monthly coverage that we expected some surprises to be unveiled ahead of the savings event, and it looks like the first of them is dropping with the introduction of the LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance. ENGWE’s Class 3 entry-level L20 2.0 e-bike hits $699 in Black Friday sales, more from $949 + bonus savings

$600+ off From $699

ENGWE’s Black Friday sale has kicked into gear through December 2, taking up to $600 off e-bikes and also offering discounted accessories, free gear, and multiple chances to get your order paid back in full (more info below). A notable price cut from previous sales is the entry-level L20 2.0 e-bike that is going for $699 shipped. It’s normally priced at $999 since it was released in March, with the lowest we saw it go being a fall to $659 at the end of summer. Since summer’s end, it’s kept at above $799, most recently during the previous Halloween sale, but that price is getting beaten out today with a total $300 markdown that lands it at the second-lowest price we have tracked – just $50 above the all-time low from summer. Learn more about the sale’s bonus savings and this e-bike below, or you can learn about it in our hands-on review at Electrek.

MOD kicks off Black Friday with massive price drops on its e-bikes at up to $1,300 off, deals from $1,799

$1,300 off $1,799+

MOD Bikes has launched its massive Black Friday event through December 1, with some major news to start it off. As of today, the brand is making its quality e-bikes more accessible by permanently dropping the starting prices across its lineup of models, with the sale’s event then taking the savings further. My personal favorite amongst the bunch (and the latest addition to my commute – review coming soon), is the MOD Easy 3 e-bike that is now down at $2,199 shipped from its new $2,399 price tag. Permanently falling from its original $3,499 price, the changeup in its starting rate alone beats out all previous discounts we’ve seen, but now MOD is giving us even more with an additional $200 slashed off for Black Friday, landing it a new all-time low.

Lectric’s Black Friday sale begins with up to $781 taken off e-bike bundles from $999 and tons of bonus deals

It’s officially November and Lectric has switched to Black Friday sales by taking up to $781 off its e-bike bundle lineup, with tons of additional accessory deals too. One noticeable stand out right off the bat is the ONE Long-Range e-bike that is getting $467 in free gear at $2,199 shipped. Normally you’d be pressed for $2,666 to get this bundle at full price, but as always, Lectric includes the savings on all the free gear (though the e-bike is maintaining its $100 price cut from earlier sales). This is the largest bundle package that we have seen on this e-bike to date, making it the best deal yet to score it for your commute, complete with a rear cargo rack, a pair of fenders, two waterproof pannier bags, and a 4L storage bag that stows away right in the frame.

Tenways early access Black Friday sale takes $600 off the 37-pound CGO600 Pro e-bike at new $1,299 low, and more

Tenways has given riders early access to its Black Friday pricing, taking up to $600 off its lineup of e-bikes and giving away free gear too, with the biggest of these discounts being on its belt-drive CGO600 Pro e-bike for $1,299 shipped, while the new 8-speed chain-drive model is down at $1,399 shipped. This model is usually priced at $1,899 most days and we’ve seen a few different discounts drop the price since its release back towards the end of 2023, often to $1,499 or higher, though there have been a few falls to $1,399. You can take advantage of this early $600 markdown now and save yourself the trouble of typical Black Friday concerns while it’s down at a new all-time low price – plus, you’re also getting free mudguards and a kickstand valued at $118. Head below to learn more about this lightweight commuter, or read our review over at Electrek.

gadgetnewsonline Travel Kit – My favorite gear for trips to the swamps of Virginia and North Carolina

Welcome to the second edition of our new gadgetnewsonline Travel Kit series, and this time around, I’ll be heading down to the swamps of Virginia and North Carolina to visit family in the open window of my otherwise busy schedule (it probably doesn’t help that they are a solid 8 to 12 hours of driving away). There is one unfortunate hiccup, however…they are busy people too, and we’re visiting in the middle of the week. So, to keep our sanity amongst the sleepy quiet of those small towns, I’m going to be counting on these devices to fill the hours where there won’t be much going on – and some for when things are going on. Some of them are strictly must-haves on my trips, some have mixed uses for work and play, some are entirely for play, one is staying behind at home, and there’s even a surprise treat waiting for me at one of my destinations. Head below to learn about my favorite gear to keep sanity strong while in the monotonous swamps of Virginia and North Carolina.

Review: Whisker’s Litter-Robot 3 Connect is a smart, self-cleaning must-have for cat owners

Not long ago, my partner and I brought home a young cat (named Kraydor the Wizard Boy, FYI, and not by me) after he was having trouble getting adopted from our local shelter. Among these first few months, he has been having some…issues with using the litter box – primarily, he refused to use it if it was not immediately cleaned after every use. We had started him off with some pellets that had been recently introduced in our home to fight the odors that linger from typical litter while keeping our floors from being covered in scattered bits. After he instead began relieving himself in random places around the apartment, we tried clumping litter, as our other cat has always preferred it and it allowed Kraydor to better bury his business out of sight, and hopefully out of mind longer than his next visit. This did not work, however, so in a last ditch attempt to save our sanity from having to clean the box every few hours (he’s young and goes regularly), we instead decided to bite the bullet on Whisker’s Litter-Robot 3 Connect, a smart, self-cleaning litter box that manages the worst part of cat companionship.

Tested: NOCO’s GB40 Boost Plus car battery jump starter is as versatile as it is convenient

Order Now!

Anyone who owns a car has likely been in the unfortunate situation of a dead battery at least once – especially when you really need to keep a schedule or make it to an important appointment. Sure, if you have a properly stocked garage you might have a bulky battery charger that you can regularly connect over night to keep levels juiced and ready to go, but for many – particularly city dwellers – living in limited apartment space poses a lot of obstacles to this method. Parking is first come, first serve – plus, running extension cords and leaving the charger out along the streets without staying out with it seems like the best way to have it stolen. That’s where the NOCO GB40 Boost Plus Jump Starter comes in – a portable, multi-capable device that has been an absolute life-saver for years now, particularly in the summer and winter seasons when batteries tend to be sapped by the extreme temperatures without warning. Review: The CLIP e-bike conversion kit refreshes century-old tech into a new modern design

The world (and life) moves fast and we humans can only do enough in our lives to keep up with it as best we can. One growing aspect that many are trying to find solutions to in the modern world is how to get to all our daily appointments – work, school, social events – in the most affordable and environmentally conscious way. Solution: conversion kits, like the CLIP, which boasts the title of “the world’s first & only plug-and-play e-bike upgrade.” While many existing kits fall into the category of mountable hub motors, this device, on the other hand, uses inventive new ideas by building upon decades-old technology. That’s why I was absolutely giddy when I was first approached to test out the CLIP and visit the office here in NYC. You can continue reading below to get my hands-on impressions of this ingenious new device – and be sure to check out the short video of my ride too!
