SNK Playmore releases new Metal Slug tower defense game for iOS and Android

SNK Playmore is a developer known for bringing the popular NeoGeo Metal Slug franchise to iOS devices, and now the company has released a new title in the series with METAL SLUG DEFENSE. Unlike the chaotic side-scrolling shooter action the franchise is typically known for, METAL SLUG DEFENSE is a tower defense/strategy title set in the world of classic Metal Slug games.

All run on intuitive touch controls, the game features more than 60 different character/unit types you can customize and level up, “100 background stages faithfully recreated from classic” levels, and Wi-Fi multiplayer matches (as well as single player mode).

Send your units to the battlefield and take over enemy bases with a simple tap of your finger! Use the METAL SLUG Attack, along with other unique special attacks to turn the tide in battle, and the goddess of victory will smile upon you!!
