Whether its Apple, Amazon and Google devices or smart home gear, kitchenware and HDTVs, we have you covered across every product category. The Toys R Us and GameStop flyers have finally surfaced, and we have now had a chance to scour through all of this year’s Black Friday 2017 ads to round-up the best-of-the-best in the world of gaming.
Head below for all the best Black Friday 2017 deals on Xbox One S, PlayStation 4, controllers, games and more…
As expected, Microsoft and Sony have both officially announced notable price drops on current generation hardware. Also entirely expected, Nintendo did nothing of the sort outside of its usual Black Friday exclusive, and completely full-priced, Link Green Edition 2DS. And it will likely be as hard to get as some of the doorbuster deals if last year’s offering is any indication.
We are seeing loads of game deals for PS4 and Xbox One at $12 or less including some newer titles and a number of all-time lows. You’ll find all that and more listed below…
PlayStation 4/Xbox One S |
First off Sony has dropped the 1TB PS4 Slim down to $199 and the 500GB Xbox One S is dropping down $189.99. As these are official price drops, you can essentially expect to see them almost everywhere this year including Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Newegg, Microsoft Store, Toys R Us, Sam’s Club, Meijer and at this point, maybe even the bakery at the end of your street. Everywhere.
But, just this morning, there is one deal that has emerged as the clear winner thus far. GameStop will be offering the PS4 Slim at $199 just like the rest, but will also be throwing in a $50 gift card as well. So that’s $100 off plus an additional $50 store credit you can use on a game or even to get a deep deal on that Nintendo Switch you have been eyeing.
On the Xbox side of things, it looks as though Microsoft Store has the best advertised offer so far. You’re looking at the same $190 bundle as the other retailers are offering but with one free game and a month of Game Pass ($290+ value).
Just keep in mind that in both cases the basic PS4 slim and 500GB Xbox One S will more than likely be seeing several additional price drops by way of bundle offers at eBay and even some surprise offers over at Walmart. Amazon is likely to price match on just everything here, as well as offer its own Xbox One and PS4 bundles specifically for Black Friday.
PlayStation 4 Pro/Xbox One X |
Deals on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One X have been scarce to say the least. At best we have seen some come with free games thrown in here and there on eBay Daily Deals with no substantial price drops. But all that is about to change, for PS4 Pro anyway.
Having been on the market for much longer than Xbox One X, we expected to see a nice $50 price drop and maybe even some bundle offers for Black Friday 2017. So far we haven’t heard much outside of GameStop which will be cutting the $399.99 price tag down to just $350. That is clearly a great price for the high-end Sony machine, but we are hoping to see even deeper bundle offered pop-up on eBay Daily Deals in the coming week or so. Having said that, we don’t expect to see the overall value drop much lower than the GameStop offer.
Xbox One X on the other hand has been completely omitted from this year’s Black Friday ads. Disappointing we know, but expected nonetheless. The machine just recently hit store shelves so the best we can hope for are some custom bundle deals on eBay and possibly Newegg or Walmart.
Controllers |
As for controllers, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Amazon and more will have wireless Xbox One and PS4 DualShock 4s down at $39.99 with multiple color choices. However, GameStop has advertised the PS4 gamepads down at $38. Nothing overly special here as we see this deal from time-to-time already and we are expecting to see that beat before the holiday is through.
Games |
Much like year’s past, retailers didn’t get overly specific with game prices as Amazon and Best Buy will tend to price match on just about everything that isn’t advertised as such. However, we have seen some notable prices mentioned at GameStop and others you’ll find listed below. When it comes to Nintendo Switch titles, we aren’t expecting to see much here, but it is typical for the company to launch some kind of e-Shop sale over the holidays.
- Horizon Zero Dawn $20 | Best Buy/Walmart
- Assassins Creed Origins $35 | Best Buy
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands $20 | Best Buy
- Gran Theft Auto V $25 | Best Buy
- Mafia 3 $12 | Walmart
- Forza Horizon 3: $30 | Microsoft
- Dishonored Death of the Outsider $15 | GameStop/Walmart
- Dishonored 2 $15 | Best Buy
- The Evil Within 2 $25 | GameStop/Best Buy
- Bioshock: The Collection $15 | Best Buy
- Call of Duty: World War II $45 | Target
