Find the top items to store away in your baby bag to make sure that you’re fully stocked for your outing with your little one.
First, aim to have at least one diaper for every 1.5 hours you’re out of the house, plus at least three extra. Wipes are always nice to have on-hand and are great to wipe sticky hands and faces too. The Babyganics makes a 40-count wipes package that is compressed and perfect for travel. Another item to always keep on-hand is a changing pad. Most bags come with them already inside, however if you don’t the Summer Infant Portable Changing Pad is just $6 and will conveniently fit right into your diaper bag.
If you’re out in public and need to dispose of a dirty diaper, you’ll want to place it in a plastic bag first as a courtesy to everyone around you, so that it doesn’t stink up the trash can. If you’re bottle-feeding, don’t forget your bottles and your cups for older babies or toddlers. Plus, hand sanitizer is a must for you and the baby to keep you hands clear from germs and bacteria. Other great necessities to have on hand are a bib, pacifier, spare change of clothes, a hat, and of course snacks.
