The KERUO L7 smart pocket projector puts the big screen in the palm of your hands

Most of the pocket projectors on the market today have yet to reach a balance between big screen size, high image quality and small body/portability. Even if one comes close, a traditional projector still needs a tripod to stand, making it difficult to carry both the projector and all the accessories. That’s where the KERUO L7 Smart Pocket Projector comes in. It is very portable with built-in intelligent hardware and a 4000mAh battery. All of which makes it possible to enjoy movies, give presentations and even play games on a large screen without the need for a tripod.

The projector has a very unique design that lets you adjust the elevation angle up to 15 degrees (the ideal range). At the same time, the L7 can do keystone correction automatically so you won’t need to lug around a tripod or other accessories. It can project images as large as 180 inches and provides a fluent HD video playing experience with a 64-bit 1.5Gh CPU (Quad-core cortex-A53) and an eight-core graphic processing chip.

The entire thing runs on Android 5.1.1 OS with a built-in Wi-Fi module. You can stream content to it wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or desktop through multiple channels including: Airplay, Miracast, MIDI, Chromecast and DLNA. It has one HDMI port and one USB port for even more connection options. The L7 even has an newly designed UI to help you play films and TV shows. You can download nearly any application from the Google Play store you would normally use to stream content as well.

It has a built-in 3 watt speaker that delivers sound across a broad frequency range with minimal distortion and bass effect. Or you can simply connect external audio sources through the AUX port or Bluetooth to experience professional surround sound stereo.

The projector is expected to ship in June and will cost around $469 plus shipping. An early bird pledge of $299 ($170 off the list) will get you one from its Indiegogo campaign where it has already surpassed its goal of $10,000 with 25 days left to go.

Are you looking for something that will be at your door before the weekend? This Amazon best selling ViewSonic 3300 Lumens SVGA HDMI Projector isn’t as small as the KERUO L7, but if you want to project a movie on a wall or ceiling for the kids to watch, it will do the trick.
