Turn the shower on from bed with the new U by Moen Smart Wi-Fi Connected Shower System

Moen, one of the leading faucet brands in North America, is introducing its U by Moen smart shower at CES this year. Described as a next gen Wi-Fi/cloud-based shower system, it creates a personalized experience through its connected digital five-inch controller and the iOS/Android companion apps. The Wi-Fi connected digital controller is installed in your shower and provides immediate feedback on your personal settings, notifications and parameter changes via the connected app and more. The system allows for complete control over the experience from 12 customized presets that carry data like which outlets will be used, temperature, shower time and which notifications to send through, along with a nice little personalized greeting. The free iOS/Android apps can also directly control the system allowing users to turn the shower on and off from bed, which network to access, temperature changes and other administrative options.

Users will have to bring their own fixtures and shower heads to the party, but here is some information on the professional installation process:
