Mophie’s iPhone 6/s Juice Pack Air is smarter than Apple’s Smart Battery Case at $75 (Reg. $100)

T-Mobile has Mophie’s iPhone 6/s Juice Pack Air for $99.99, but coupon code ACCSAVE25 drops your final price down to just $74.99 with free shipping. Available in Black, Gold, or White. That’s a savings of $25 and only $5 more than the best we’ve seen. What’s more, it’s the lowest current price we could find. Nearly 200 Amazon reviewers rate it 3.9 out of 5 stars.

There’s been a lot of talk about iPhone battery cases since Apple surprised everyone with its first charging case. Apple’s 1,877mAh iPhone 6s Smart Battery Case comes in at $99 and sports a controversial “hump” design. Conversely, Mophie’s Juice Pack Air has a more universally appealing tapered design and more powerful 2,750mAh battery capacity. Even at full price, Mophie is generally considered the smarter choice, but at a 25% discount, it’s really a no-brainer.

Looking for a low-cost option? Anker makes a great MFi iPhone 6/s Battery Case for $40.

    Curious… How is it smarter?
It is also heavier… it takes longer to charge…it charges the phone before charging the case…the phone doesnt tell you how much power is left in the case… it is thicker…

The price makes it more tempting, but that is just because they are now competing with apple.

problem with this case is that the lightning connector is constantly faulty. occasionally it will constantly connect and disconnect itself from my phone on the interface side. In addition to that, it does make the phone rather chunky and requires a supplied earphone port extender to use earphones which have an L-shape connector such as Marley’s House of Sound headphones or headphones which have a connector which is too wide to fit inside the hole which is designed exclusively for Apple’s earpods.
