iTunes Free App of the Week: Dark Echo ($2 value)

Apple has selected Dark Echo as the Free App of the Week. The minimalist, horror game is regularly priced at $1.99 and can now be downloaded on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch for free. This is the very first time the game gas gone free on the App Store since its release in February of this year.

Head below for more details:

Trapped in darkness, you must use visualized sound to guide your way through threatening environments. The sounds you create will bounce off obstacles, revealing the shape of the surrounding world. It won’t be long before your only way of sensing the world attracts a horrifying evil that devours both sound and souls.

The minimalist horror experience is certainly a unique one and features 80 levels, a “foreboding soundscape” and is filled with both exploration and puzzle based gameplay. It was recently updated with iCloud and MFi controller support.
