Dyson’s new Cinetic vacuums have filter systems that never need to be cleaned or replaced

Dyson is already considered to be a leader in innovative home products with its line of hot + cool fans and upright/stick bagless vacuums. After approximately $12 million dollars in development, the company is now ready to reveal its latest premium Cinetic vacuum…

While visually similar to already available Dyson vacs, the new Cinetic requires almost no maintenance and its parts will never need to be replaced, according to the company.

Current Dyson models use a filter system, like most options out there, that needs to be cleaned and in many cases replaced eventually. That won’t be the case with new Cinetic vacs, as they simply do not use one. With a series of specially designed, vibrating tips inside the vacuum, Dyson’s engineers have managed to achieve the same benefits as a washable/disposable filter with a permanent, built-in solution.

The innovation will likely decrease the overall cost of buying replacement filters (especially considering its 7 to 10 year life span), but the Cinetic series is going to run you as much $700 when it comes available next week.

First going on sale via QVC on January 15th, there will also be $550 and $600 options without all the bells and whistles available as well. We are expecting them to hit all major retail chains in March, and it appears some models can be ordered directly from Dyson. Certainly a hefty price tag, but keep in mind we do tend to see Dyson vacs go on sale quite frequently so it might be smarter to hold off until later in the year.

Dyson is the best brand of vac I’ve ever owned or used. I used to laugh at people that paid their prices until I got one.
