What we love

This is far from the only airplane-ready MagSafe mount we come across, and it certainly isn’t the least expensive. That said, it is made by iOttie and boasts a built-in carabiner which is a feature that we don’t see very common. This addition can make it easy to keep attached to your backpack, a belt loop, and the list goes on.

More curated coverage for you

iOttie Treker MagSafe Airplane Tray Mount features:

  • Universal Compatibility: Works with Qi2, MagSafe, and all other smartphones and cases via an included magnetic ring adapter that attaches to the back of any non-MagSafe phone or case for universal compatibility. Once attached, the magnetic ring can be removed, but not repositioned.
  • Compact Design: Created with travel in mind, the Treker magnetic airplane phone mount is compact and lightweight for easy storage, while a loop and carabiner allow the mount to be quickly attached to your backpack or carry-on for easy access when not in use.
  • Adjustable Viewing: Multi-angle viewing via the mount’s adjustable arm makes it possible to find the perfect visual whether it be in landscape or portrait mode. Simply pull on the mounting face to extend the arm, then use the sliding tabs to extend the spring-loaded mounting bracket and attach the mount to your tray table or roller-bag handle.
  • Strong Magnetic Hold: The mounting face features 10 sets of powerful N52 magnets which hold your phone securely in place, even during turbulence.
  • Magnetic Adapter Ring: Includes magnetic adapter ring that attaches to the back of non-MagSafe smartphones and other devices via 3M adhesive. If using a case, magnet must be attached to the outermost surface of said cover. Once attached, the magnetic ring can be removed, but not repositioned.
