Tune in to today’s PlayStation September State of Play livestream – 35 mins. of game reveals and updates

Okay here we go folks, it’s time to see what PlayStation has in store for us on the next State of Play livestream. Yesterday Sony announced it would be hosting a September State of Play event alongside the TGS festivities and it is all set to kick off this afternoon.

This morning Capcom went live with a solid 40-minutes of updates on a series of new and already released titles including Monster Hunter Wilds, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, new gameplay from PRAGMATA, and some updates on the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, but now it’s time to see what Sony has for us this afternoon.

We already know we are getting roughly 5 minutes of gameplay captured on PS5 from the mysterious new Saros courtesy of Housemarque, but beyond that, it’s all going to be at least somewhat of a surprise. The only thing Sony has actually told us is that we should expect “new looks at anticipated third-party and indie titles, plus updates from some of our teams at PlayStation Studios.”

The September State of Play showcase is set to go live very soon at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET and you can watch it along with us down below – it is set to run for roughly 35 minutes:

Tune in live this Wednesday for more than 35 minutes of reveals and news from developers around the world. We’ll share new looks at anticipated third-party and indie titles, plus updates from some of our teams at PlayStation Studios – including an extended look at Saros, Housemarque’s mysterious new title arriving next year. Look forward to nearly five minutes of gameplay captured on PS5.
