Twelve South upgrades its leather BookBook for iPhone 17 Pro/Max, intros new minimalist silicone cases [Launch deal]

Twelve South – one of our favorite Apple gear accessory makers – is ready to launch its all-new iPhone 17 cases. The brand is well known for its BookBook covers that present a sort of folio-style case made to look like a vintage book, and it has issued a new model for iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. But this year it is also introducing a more minimalists, traditional, and clean case collection for Apple’s new iPhone 17 lineup, alongside matching Apple Watch bands.

Twelve South BookBook for iPhone 17 Pro/Max

The new BookBook for iPhone 17 lands with a similar premium leather build that when viewed from the spine edge, looks like something that wouldn’t be out of place on a book shelf. That said, this is a very much a functional two piece case with a wallet-style folio wrapped around an inner MagSafe-compatible case on the inside with a soft microfiber lining. The outer case carries bank cards, ID, and even cash while also doubling as a hands-free stand for iPhone.

  • Full-grain leather wallet + iPhone case
  • Removable MagSafe compatible shell
  • Holds ID, cards, and cash
  • Folds into a hands-free stand

The Twelve South BookBook for iPhone 17 Pro/Max is now available for purchase at $59.99

Use BookBook as a full wallet or pop out the magnetic shell when you just need your phone. The secure magnetic tab keeps everything closed, and the case folds into a stand for video calls, reading, or watching on the go.

All-new Twelve South Silicone iPhone 17 cases and Apple Watch bands

On top of its refreshed, but still very classic BookBook, this year Twelve South is introducing its “first-ever coordinated collection of iPhone 17 cases and Apple Watch bands.”

The new iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max cases are crafted from “premium liquid silicone in three refined color” and join a series of matching Apple Watch Bands in Coastal Blue, Dune, and Slate.

These cases feature a “silky-soft shell” with a microfiber lining as well as a matte finish that is said to add some grip action to the carrying experience. They are MagSafe-compatible but there isn’t a ton of additional details available here. They appear to have a proper Camera Control button cover, but it’s hard to tell from the imagery if we are looking at metal button covers elsewhere or just a continuation of the silicone treatment – we have reviews inbound now.

The new Twelve South iPhone 17/Pro/Max cases carry a $49.99 list price while the matching Apple Watch bands come in at $39.99  – you can land $10 off your order at checkout if you buy both a band and a case at the same time.

Here’s some additional details on the bands:

Crafted from premium liquid silicone with tonal hardware and dual-color accents, this band balances all-day comfort with everyday durability. Lightweight, soft, and easy to clean, it transitions seamlessly from workouts to weekends.

  • Soft-touch comfort
  • Durable, water- and sweat-resistant
  • Subtle dual-tone accents
  • One size fits most wrists
