Your annual Call of Duty leak has arrived – it appears the Black Ops 7’s official release date and launch platforms have surfaced alongside details on when you’ll get to see the game in action next.
Anyone who follows the series already knows it’s going to release this fall because it more or less always does, and it looks like it’s going to again.
According to quite a reliable leaker, and previous leaks before that, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will land worldwide on November 14, 2025 and across all of the usual platforms. Those include PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
According to this same leaker, the game will not be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, or it at least does not appear to be at this point.
Activision previously signed a long-term deal that should be bringing the COD series (and other titles) over to Nintendo consoles at some point or other, but it has not made anything official at this point, and it looks like the next Call of Duty launch will not include the hottest new console on the planet.
Alongside publishers like Microsoft and Ubisoft, Activision has long been rumored to be bringing its titles to Switch 2. Just about anyone who follows this sort of thing assumes as much, but the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase came and went without any of these major publishers present, and it looks like Black Ops 7 will not hit the new Switch 2 this year (or perhaps just not right at launch).
Obviously nothing has been confirmed on any of this, but it won’t be long before we have a better idea of the situation – the game is scheduled to be making an appearance next week at gamescom during the Opening Night Live presentation.
Our guess is the information above is more for less the only thing we get next week (alongside a new trailer/gameplay), and that Switch 1/2 Activision support will remain up in the air, for now.
