Hot on the heels of today’s summer Pokémon Presents showcase, the very first new Switch 2 console bundle has been revealed. The official Nintendo of Europe X account just debuted a new Pokémon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 bundle that will launch the same day as the new game on October 16, but we also now know it is coming to the U.S. as well. While the Nintendo of Europe X account did let the monster out of the Pokeball, Nintendo of America has officially just issued a press releasing confirming the new Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Bundle is indeed landing stateside.
It is indeed releasing in the U.S. simultaneously with the Pokémon Legends: Z-A game on October 16 – it includes the Nintendo Switch 2 system and the full game download for the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition game.
While the European Nintendo account states that pre-orders won’t be live until tomorrow, Nintendo of America says the console bundle is available for pre-order starting today at “select retailers”
The new console bundle will carry the same “discounted” rate as the Mario Kart World bundle at $499.99 shipped – buying a Switch 2 console at $450 and the $70 game would run you $520.
