When I first unboxed my Switch 2, I expected the dock to be bigger, the console itself to be larger, and they added a fan and more ports. But I didn’t realize just how bulky and clunky it would feel. That’s why I started looking for a more compact alternative that didn’t hide the beautiful console, so I could have a second dock in the house. That’s where the new Antank S3 Max comes in. At just $29, it’s a no-brainer. Here’s what you need to know.
Antank S3 Max specs
Here is what you should know when it comes to specs. Also, be aware that they have two versions: one without an Ethernet port and one with an Ethernet port. I have the one without because I knew I would not hardwire it in.
You get:
- HDMi Port (supports 4k 120hz)
- 2 USB-A ports
- 1 USB-C Port (Supports 100W PD while playing)
- Just 109g (Nintendo Dock weights 383g!)
- TV mode and handheld mode toggle

You get everything you want from a Switch 2 dock in a much better package. Its way smaller and lighter, so its easy to travel with. You also don’t have to worry about scratching the display fo your Switch 2 every time you try to dock it, and it basically displays your Switch 2 for everyone to see.
I will note that the Antank Switch 2 dock only brings the dock. It does not bring an HDMI cable or a Power brick. I used 3rd party variants of both with the Antank dock, and it worked great.
The deal
Normally, the dock retails for $39, but right now it’s on sale for $29. It literally is 1/4 of the price of the 1st party Switch 2 dock. You can get a 60W power brick and HDMI cable for under $30 as well! So if you are looking for a second dock for another room in your house, or just want one that is more portable, the Antank Switch 2 Dock is the way to go!
