While the standard 512GB base model has jumped up in price slightly, Amazon has the 14-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro in Space Black with the 24GB of RAM and the 1TB SSD down at $2,149 shipped. This is a regularly $2,399 configuration now seeing a solid $250 price drop from the typical list price.

Just for comparison’s sake, this same upgraded 1TB model is selling for $2,249 over at Best Buy where you’ll need to be a paid Plus or Total member to score the same $250 price drop Amazon is offering.

While you’re clearly paying more for this setup than the base M4 Pro MacBook Pro with the 14-inch display, you’re also scoring double the storage here. If you ask me the 256GB storage options of yesteryear were way too underwhelming for a pro-grade Apple laptop, and the 512GB is, perhaps unfortunately, starting to get there too. Well I personally wouldn’t blame you for looking to save some cash with a lower storage storage tier – it’s still all about the RAM after all – some folks need the extra stowing capacity and, if you’re one of them, you might as well save $250 in the process.

Only once have we seen this particular configuration go for any less and that was during the Black Friday bonanza last year at $2,099, or $50 under the price we have at the ready right now courtesy of Amazon.
