Razer is known for showcasing some pretty wild concepts at CES, and it’s safe to say that it didn’t disappoint. This year at CES 2025, the brand is showcasing Project Arielle, a concept mesh chair that cools you down or can blast some hot air on demand. Oh, and because we’re talking about Razer here, this gaming chair also has RGB. Despite being just a concept, this is easily one of the coolest things we’ve seen this year CES, and you can learn more about it below.
Project Arielle, according to Razer, is the world’s first heating and cooling integrated mesh gaming chair. It builds upon the Razer Fujin Pro and comes with a bladeless adjustable fan with three speeds to reduce the perceived temperature if you live in a place with a hot climate, or in case things get too sweaty during those intense games. For those in need of a bit of warmth can take advantage of the chair’s built-in PTC heating system and get warm air at 30 degrees Celsius. You can adjust the fans and the temperature using touch panels that are conveniently located next to the seat.
This gaming chair, as previously mentioned, comes with RGB lighting. But instead of just being a showpiece for aesthetics, the lights serves a functional purpose, telling you whether the chair is warming or cooling at any given point.
It’ll be interesting to see if/when this concept turns into a reality and we actually get our hands on one. Plenty of Razer concepts have made it to the market as retail unit that you can buy, like the Freyja Sensa HD Haptic Gaming Chair that you can buy for $299.99 shipped. We won’t be surprised to see Project Arielle landing in your battlestation by the end of this year, so just keep your eyes peeled.
