PlayStation is getting in on the CES 2025 action this year as well with the announcement of the new Midnight Black Collection of PS5 accessories that launches next month. These stealthy new editions deliver a midnight black paint job to the PlayStation Portal remote player, DualSense Edge wireless controller, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds. Sony unveils epic new Midnight Black PlayStation accessories
Sony has taken to its official PlayStation Blog this morning to officially announce the availability of its new galaxy-inspired Midnight Black colorway coming to a range of its official accessories.
The new paint job is designed to perfectly match “the Midnight Black PS5 accessories already available, including the DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console covers.”
Sony says each of the new Midnight Black accessories feature a “unique, rich shade of black, with sleek detailing on various buttons and accents such as the PlayStation logo.” This colorway also extends through to the charging case on the Pulse Explore earbuds, the charging hanger for the Pulse Elite headset, and the carrying case for the DualSense Edge controller – the “Pulse Elite wireless headset and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds will also include a felt grey carrying case.”
