First deal strikes Samsung’s thinnest and lightest Galaxy Chromebook Plus with AMOLED at $600 (Save $100)

$100 off $600

As a part of its now live Black Friday sale, Samsung is offering its Galaxy Chromebook Plus in Neptune Blue for $599.99 shipped. That’s $100 off a brand new Chromebook that debuted last month carrying a $700 price tag. Today’s deal lands the first discount for this Chromebook Plus machine, marking a new low price to beat. It comes with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a modern Chromebook out there, and you can learn more about it below.

As mentioned in our launch coverage, this new Galaxy Chromebook is the thinnest and lightest Chromebook Plus model out there. It sports a 15.6-inch AMOLED panel, and it’s powered by an Intel Core 3 100U (Raptor Lake-R) processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also comes with a new keyboard sporting a Quick Insert Key instead of the Launcher key. All these components are neatly packed inside a chassis that is less than half an inch thin at 11.8 millimeters, and weighing 2.58 pounds.

If you’re open to buying a Windows laptop in and around the same price range, then ASUS’ new Vivobook S15 Snapdragon X Plus Copilot+ PC is down at $550. It sports a 3K OLED 120Hz panel, supports all the new Copilot+ features, and is down from its usual price of $900 today.
