Amazon is now playing around with the price drops on the M3 MacBook Pro models now that the new M4 models are up for pre-order, and you can now score the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and a the upgraded 1TB SSD down at $1,399 shipped. This is a regularly $1,999 configuration folks. That means you’re saving $600 off the price it carried at Apple not two weeks ago and landing a new Amazon all-time low in the process.
To put this deal in better perspective, the 8GB config of the same model is now marked down to $1,299 at Amazon, or $100 less than the 16GB above at $500 off.
Another way to look at this is to compare it to the new M4 machines. While you can score one of those for less with a trade-in, the M4 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD carries a list price at $1,799. So even with Apple delivering all new models with 16GB of RAM, you’re still saving $400 with today’s deal on the M3 model.
As exciting as the new chip is, the 2023 M3 MacBook Pro remains a powerful machine that is more than capable of handling more than just casual browsing, video chatting, and the like. With the 16GB of RAM and updated storage, it is Apple Intelligence-ready and will even be able to handle your creative Logic Pro and video projects (providing they aren’t insanely demanding).
