TCL’s 98-inch 120Hz QM7 Google TV released at $5,000 earlier this year, now at $2,300 low

$2,300

While we are now tracking a notable price drop on TCL’s more entry-level 98-inch Q65 model that has now dropped the original $3,000 list down to $1,798 shipped at Amazon, we are also seeing an even deeper deal on the higher-end 98-inch QM7. This one launched back in May at $5,000, but both Amazon and Best Buy have now dropped the price down to $2,299.99 shipped. The QM7 now carries a regular price at $4,000 via Best Buy and has more recently been bouncing between roughly $2,450 and $5,000 at Amazon, but either way you’re looking at up to $2,700 off the price it launched at earlier this year, $1,700 off the going rate at Best Buy, and a new Amazon all-time low.

One thing to keep in mind here is the installation. This is one giant TV and, unless you have some free credit or gift cards to use at Amazon to bring the price down, you might want to consider the Best Buy listing instead as it comes with FREE installation services.

This giant oversized TCL is ready to take your home theater or basement setup to new heights with a native 120Hz refresh rate alongside 1,500+ local dimming zones and a 2,400 nits peak brightness. The Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and HDR10 support joins an ONKYO 2.1 speaker system alongside a host of gaming-specific tech to keeps things running smoother: “blistering fast 240 VRR,” Auto Game Mode (ALLM) with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and four high-speed HDMI inputs.

On top of that, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit gear support comes with Apple’s AirPlay 2 casting and Bluetooth “for a personalized audio experience.”
