As part of Amazon’s latest batch of discounts on the 2024 Hisense smart TV lineup, we just spotted a new all-time low on this Hisense 85-inch Class QD7 Series QLED 4K UHD Google Smart TV down at $799.99 shipped. This mid-ranger model typically sells for $1,200, launched this past summer, and is now at $400 off to deliver a new Amazon all-time low. This model is also now matched at Best Buy where you’ll find additional size options also at discounted pricing (details below).
One thing we love about this model is that it drastically undercuts the brand’s already competitively priced mini-LED TVs and otherwise delivers similar specs – that’s even before you factor in today’s $400 price drop. An 85-inch Hisense U7 mini-LED 2024 model, for example, fetches $1,500 on sale.
While the QD7 is not going to deliver the mini-LED panel, only the most ardent and picky viewers are even going to be able tell the difference in my experience, unless, perhaps they are side by side in your living room for some reason. It also lands with notable specs, including that native 144Hz refresh rate we love from the brand as well as Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, HDR 10, Hybrid Log-Gamma, and built-in Google Assistant/Amazon Alexa voice command action.
Hisense’s Game Mode Pro is in place as well, providing Variable Refresh Rate tech, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Auto Low Latency Mode, and Low Latency MEMC that “virtually eliminate annoyances like screen tearing and controller input lag.”
Dolby Vision and Atmos join the Google TV platform for direct access to your streaming services and apps alongside Apple AirPlay casting and a pair of HDMI 2.1 inputs.
