Today JLab is introducing what it calls the ‘lowest priced wireless ANC earbuds’ anywhere with its new GO POP ANC. The new ultra budget-friendly GO POP buds are now available for purchase at a shockingly low $29.99, complete with the workout-ready, noise cancelling design we will take a closer look at below.
JLab debuts the ‘lowest priced ANC earbuds on the market’
A quick browse through Amazon’s $30 and under section just goes to show how few earbuds there are with ANC anywhere near this price – there are some, like the Anker Soundcore P30i, but those are on sale for $30.50 right now, and most of the others are from brands you likely won’t even recognize.
JLab is on the other hand is a brand we are familiar with, one that has been delivering worthwhile tech at affordable price tags for years now, and one that might actually be able to pull off a set of ANC buds at a price like this for folks looking to save a ton.
The new GO POP ANC set carry 10mm dynamic drivers alongside a sweat- and splash-proof design boasting an IP55 rating. From there you can expect to land 24 hours of battery life with the included charging case – there are actually 7 hours of playtime in the buds themselves, alongside an integrated USB-C cable so you won’t need to carry one around – there is no wireless charging here by the sounds/looks of it.
All of that joins a few nice perks you might not expect to find in a $30 set of wireless in-ears, and that’s before you even consider the ANC action:

Details are thin on what exactly the brand is employing to achieve its active noise cancellation here – the point is clearly that you’re even getting it at a price like this. But we do know there is an ANC setting as well as a “Be Aware” mode when you’re looking to let some sound through.
At a price like this it’s hard to imagine the ANC keeping up with brands like Anker, never mind the big boys, but at a price like this, I guess you’re lucky to be getting it at all.
