Anker is ready to officially unleash its latest generation Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro wireless earbuds today. Landing with some marked improvements over the standard edition set as well as the previous-generation Liberty 3 Pro, the latest lands with touch bar control as well as an onboard display and updated noise cancellation, among other things. Now available for purchase via the brand’s Amazon storefront, we will dive into the details down below.
Anker debuts new next-gen Liberty 4 Pro wireless buds
Anker might not be the first brand you think of when it comes to wireless earbuds, but it has always delivered some serious value in the space and we tend to come away impressed after giving them a go ourselves. While the new Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro aren’t on the super budget-friendly side of things at $129.99 like some of the Anker buds, they do seem to deliver some notable specs that give just about anything in their weight class a run for their money.
Features at a glance:
- Matchless Noise Cancellation: 7 sensors detect noise from every angle. From planes to trains, enjoy a serene journey with 3× stronger noise reduction.
- Real-Time Adaptive Noise Reduction: Adapts to your ever-changing environment every 0.3 seconds, ensuring optimal, seamless noise reduction.
- Effortless Controls: The case’s touch bar and display let you fine-tune the noise-cancelling levels at any time with a simple swipe on the case.
- Studio-Level High-Fidelity Music: Indulge in crisp, full-bodied sound with ACAA, a 10.5mm driver, a titanium-coated tweeter, and a digital crossover.
- Super Fast Charging: Charge 2× faster. A 5-minute refuel offers 4 hours of playtime. Up to 10 hours from one charge and up to 40 hours with the case.
- 6-Mic AI Clear Calls: With a noise cancelling algorithm, a wind noise reduction tech, and six microphones, enjoy clear calls wherever you are.
First let’s talk about some of the specs here. This time around they feature double the charging speed with 10 hours in the buds themselves and 40 hours when you factor in the charging case – that beats out the 30 hours total on AirPods Pro 2 for the record. A 5-minute refuel adds 4 hours of listening time too.
Next up is ANC. Anker has outfitted these buds with seven sensors to “detect noise from every angle” and assist with the real-time adaptive noise reduction tech – it “adapts to your ever-changing environment every 0.3 seconds, ensuring optimal, seamless noise reduction.” All of this also joins what Anker is calling AI-enhanced calling with a noise reduction algorithm and six mics to reduce wind noise.
Now’s it’s on to control. The usual touch controls are in place here, but they are actually on the case alongside the embedded smart display you’ll find on the inside. The touch bar and display allow you “fine-tune the noise-cancelling levels of these wireless earbuds at any time with a simple swipe” while also giving you heads-up notification on the battery level and more.
Here’s what Anker has to say about the internals driving the sound reproduction:
Feature the enhanced ACAA acoustic architecture, a 10.5mm bass driver, a titanium-coated tweeter, and a digital crossover for peak driver performance. Indulge in crisp, full-bodied sound perfected with nuances.
The new Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro wireless earbuds are available in three colorways with a glossy black, light blue, and white treatment at $129.99 shipped.
