Just after Best Buy announced and launched its Prime competitor Member Deals Days event (it is now in full swing), it was only a matter of time before Walmart surfaced with its own big summer sale. Now officially scheduled to start on July 8 and run through until Thursday, July 11, Walmart is looking to get in on the action with what it is calling “its largest deal event ever.” We will be the judge of that, but it certainly sounds promising.
What is Walmart Deals?
Walmart Deals is the incredibly (not) creative name for Walmart’s Prime Day competitor sale.

When is the big summer Walmart Deals sale?
Walmart Deals is set to kick off Monday, July 8 at 5 p.m. ET and run through until Thursday, July 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET. And yes you heard that right, it is for some (not so) odd reason starting at 5 p.m in the afternoon on July 8 – this is because it will be giving its Walmart+ members a 5-hour head start on the deals. The sale will go live starting at noon ET on July 8, 2024 for Walmart+ members.
What will be on sale during summer Walmart Deals event?
Well, by the looks of the early details we will be seeing everything from smart TVs to Nintendo Switch gear, Star Wars LEGO sets, Galaxy Watch models, loads of home goods and kitchen appliances, camping gear, and well, a lot – it is the largest Walmart sale ever after all.
