First look! New LEGO Star Wars 75389 The Dark Falcon + 75393 TIE Fighter and X-Wing Mash-Up on the way

Hot on the heels of our coverage of the two newly revealed LEGO Botanical sets by Fnac, we’ve gotten another new reveal from the French retailer that gives us our first look into two upcoming August 2024 LEGO Star Wars sets that are inspired by the Rebuild the Galaxy Disney+ special: the Dark Falcon set alongside a TIE Fighter and X-Wing Mash-Up set. You can get more details and a closer look at these new builds down below.

What if Darth Vader became a Jedi instead? What if Jar-Jar Binks was a deadly Sith lord? What if the Ewoks’ culture developed into bounty hunting – or that C3PO ended up in the profession as well? Amongst several “what if” scenarios, the LEGO Star Wars universe is turned upside down with even more wild and crazy scenarios, and these two new kits reflect that playful twisting of cannon events with glee.

The first of these build sets is the 75389 The Dark Falcon, a 180-degree flip on everyone’s favorite Kessel Running ship that is also one of the most wild LEGO Star Wars creations to date. The 1,579-piece build transforms the Millennium Falcon into its Sith-aligned counterpart, complete with a Death Star radar dish. The set also includes six exclusive minifigures to add to the wacky fun: Beach Luke, Jedi Vader, Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, Darth Jar Jar, and even Darth Rey.

  • 75389 The Dark Falcon – US $179.99 / €179.99
  • 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up – US$109.99 / €109.99

Pictures are limited, with a grainy quality, which will be updated as new information is released.

And riding along in stride with the Dark Falcon is the 75393 TIE Fighter and X-Wing Mash-Up set for even more fun. This 1,063-piece set lets you build both an X-Wing and TIE Fighter separately, but also lets you fuse the two together to fit right in with the redesigned universe’s hypothetical scenarios. There are five new minifigures to go along with the ships here – all of them new characters, with one giving a wink and a nod to LEGO: there’s Yesi Scala, Sig Greebling, a Rebel Pilot, a TIE pilot, and the aptly named L3-GO Astromech Droid.
