While we are still tracking some big-time price drops on Beats headphones and earbuds (more details on those below), the very first deals on the brand new Beats Solo 4 have arrived. Just after getting a chance to go hands-on with them over at 9to5Mac, we are now tracking the new on-ear headphones down at $149.99 shipped via Amazon and Best Buy. Regularly $200, all three colorways are seeing straight up $50 cash discounts to deliver both the first price drops and subsequent all-time lows. We said “the most iconic Beats headphones just got better” with the new Beats Solo 4, and you’ll find more details below.

The new Beats Solo 4 deliver on a familiar form-factor and design while landing as the first update to the best-selling Beats cans in eight years. The updated drivers join personalize Spatial Audio support with dynamic head tracking alongside the flex-grip headband and “ergonomically angled, adjustable ear cups.” The 50 hours of battery life also joins the Beats Fast Fuel action that delivers an additional 5 hours of playback after 10 minutes of charging.

Our beloved Chance Miller has been listening to “hours and hours of Taylor Swift” on these things for weeks now (and probably is right now), check out his hands-in impressions for a closer look at what’s new this time around.
