Incase’s new Icon sleeve is “the next evolution in protection” for your MacBook and iPad

It’s not often you hear about exciting new products in the laptop sleeve world, but the all-new Incase Icon has reimagined gadget protection. Most current sleeves are made from a soft neoprene, which is great for casual drops and knocks, but a serious tumble will most likely still harm your MacBook or iPad. That’s where the Icon sleeve comes in.

The combination of form-fitting neoprene panels, fur-lined interior walls, and Tensaerlite around the edges create a hybrid sleeve that retains your device’s slim design, while providing ample protection. Instead of utilizing a zipper, the Icon has a magnetic snap closure to that is quicker to open and less likely to scratch your device.

The Icon sleeve is now available in two different color combinations for the Retina MacBook Pro ($69.95), iPad Air ($59.95), and iPad mini ($59.95). If that’s out of your price range then you can always pick-up an older version on the cheap at Amazon.

  1. I picked this up at the Apple Store last week for my rMBP, it is a tiny bit loose but other than that I absolutely love it. By far the best sleeve on the market. Not the cheapest by any means, but it is the best.
