Segway is currently offering its E3 Pro Electric Scooter at $549.99 shipped, which is also matching in price over at Amazon, too. While it is listed with a $700 MSRP direct from the brand, we’ve been seeing it hold out more often at $600 there, while starting at that rate over at Amazon. Discounts have been rarer and rarer since tariffs began weighing heavier on the American market in 2025, though we did last see it fall lower back during Black Friday when it hit its $500 low. If you missed out on that price, you’re getting the next-best rate here while these savings last, giving you $50 off the going rate (and $150 off the MSRP) for an e-scooter that has become my new go-to since going hands-on in our review last year. There are a few other models seeing varying discounts in the brand’s Amazon storefront here, while others are seeing their usual discounted rates offered direct from the brand’s website here.
While I do have my Lectric XP4 750 e-bike for longer commutes across NYC’s five boroughs, the Segway E3 Pro electric scooter has quickly become my main method of travelling within my neighborhood and the surrounding areas of Brooklyn, mostly because it’s lighter and easier to manage up and down my stoop for shorter trips to the market or various stop-offs.
The E3 Pro is a 40-pound e-scooter that boasts some significant steps up from the E2 Pro predecessor, sporting a 400W motor (with an 800W peak) that is powered by the 368Wh battery to travel for up to 34 miles at up to 20 MPH top speeds. That extended travel range is thanks to both the inclusion of the brand’s SegRange Optimization tech and the regenerative brake, while safety has been heightened by the SegRide stability enhancement tech, the latest traction control system, turn signaling, RGB ambient lighting for nighttime journeys, and a bright headlight.
What’s really nice is that I can now utilize its app-controlled lockout, as well as Apple Find My, giving me a little added peace of mind should anyone be bold enough to try or succeed in stealing it, as I can track it down and reclaim it in true New York fashion (if you know, you know).
The dual elastomer suspension on this new model has been especially handy when riding over unpaved or pot-hole covered streets, giving me a far smoother ride than I ever got on my E22 model that started my Segway journey in 2020. Other features here include the 10-inch self-sealing jelly tires, an IPX5 water-resistant build, a 265-pound total payload, 3-inch full-color LED screen, front drum brake to coincide with the rear regenerative brake, and more. You can get my full hands-on experience by reading through my review here.
Another notable discount we recently spied was on Segway’s longer-trekking ZT3 Pro All-Terrain Electric Scooter that is currently down at $900 right now, with even more e-scooter deals to browse in our dedicated EV hub here. Likewise, if you’d prefer an e-bike, you can find those deals collected into our separate e-bikes hub here.
