Pricing on the latest M4 MacBook Air has largely jumped up significantly, not only from the $250 price drops we had over the holidays last year, but even the $200 drops we spotted in 2026. However, for folks that don’t need the latest and greatest, the notable discount on this M3 model is now back in-stock at shipping via Amazon at $400 under the list price on the comparable M4.
Expercom, for the uninitiated, is a well-respected and fully authorized Apple dealer. It also has an official Amazon storefront, and it is now once again offering Apple’s 15-inch M4 MacBook Air in Midnight with 16GB of RAM down at $999 shipped.
This is matching our previous mention, and comes in at a whole lot less than this model launched at.
While the M3 MacBook Air in question here debuted at $1,699, that eventually dropped to $1,499 after Apple nixed the 8GB RAM tiers, leaving today’s deal at $500 under this machine’s most recent sticker price.
But a far more useful value comparison here is to the current-generation M4 MacBook Air. The comparable 16GB 15-inch model carries a list price at $1,399 and is currently on sale for $1,249 – this M3 is still a whole lot less than that.
Another notable data point here is to the lowest price we have tracked on the comparable 16GB/512GB M4 setup. It was down at the $1,149 Amazon all-time low across the Black Friday deal season last year and again over Christmas – today’s M3 deal is still $150 less than that.
It’s no M4, and the M5 (or whatever is next is surely inbound sometime this year), but it’s hard to imagine the M4 dropping this low all that soon.
