Cruise in 2026 on MOD’s premium Easy SideCar Sahara e-bike with dog-friendly upgrades at its $3,499 low ($400 off)

The rare savings we’re seeing from MOD Bikes’ New Year Sale are ending in a few days, so we wanted to shine one final spotlight on the most premium of the brand’s models, the Easy SideCar Sahara e-bike at $3,499 shipped, which matches the price on the predecessor Easy SideCar 3 e-bike. This upgraded sidecar model hit the scene at the end of 2024 with a $3,899 full price, which is where it kept for most of 2025, though discounts in the early months, November, and December saw discounts drop costs to $3,509 and the $3,499 low. There’s no telling when we’ll see discounts offered again in 2026, so its a prime time to jump on the $400 markdown to the lowest price we have tracked before the event ends with January 15.

There are some notable differences between MOD’s Easy SideCar Sahara and the Easy SideCar 3 e-bikes, starting with the obvious colorway changes – with this newer model having been inspired by the 1940 BMW R 75 Sahara motorcycle. From there, this model boasts a dual-crown motorcycle-style suspension, an extension of the sidecar from the e-bike’s frame, as well as that sidecar sporting two headlights, a taillight, a detachable seat/seatbelt, and a small cargo rack on its front – plus, there’s the standout addition of a doggie door on its backside making it easier for older dogs to enter.

Aside from those upgrades, you’re getting the same features on both sidecar models, starting with a 750W geared hub motor that peaks at 1,000W and is powered by a 720Wh battery. This combination (with pedaling presided over by a torque sensor) gives you up to 50 miles of PAS travel at up to 28 MPH speeds – and yes, there is a throttle that you can use to cruise without any manual pedaling at the cost of mileage.

Other shared features include hydraulic disc brakes, multi-terrain tires, a snap-on rear cargo rack (with a 65-pound payload that can handle child seating), a Shimano ALTUS 7-speed derailleur, a S3 smart color display that has a USB port for device charging, and more. You can get a rundown on what to expect from these sidecar e-bikes in our hands-on review of the Easy SideCar 3 e-bike here.

There’s only two days left to jump on the rare savings from MOD’s New Year e-bike sale, which is slated to continue only through January 15, with deals starting from $1,799 lows. You can also find more brands offering various savings in our e-bike hub here.
