While Aventon may have ended its previous New Year Sale across its entire lineup of e-bikes, the brand is continuing discounts on three of its popular legacy models, like the Aventure 2 All-Terrain e-bike at $1,499 shipped. Normally going for $1,999 outside of sales/discounts, we mostly saw this model kept down at $1,599 throughout most of 2025, with late August being the first time that year that it dipped lower to this rate, which it regularly returned to since. No longer available with a step-through frame, Aventon’s Aventure 2 e-bike is an all-terrain trekker that has been quite popular among commuters in NYC, likely as some streets can be paved and smooth while others are so pot-holed and more that it feels like you’re off-road. There is a 750W rear hub motor here (with a 1,130W peak) that is powered by a 15.0Ah integrated battery for up to 60 miles of pedal-assisted travel at 20/28 MPH top speeds, which are determined by your state’s laws.
It doesn’t come along with the premium smart features like its upgraded 3rd-generation counterpart, but still offers plenty that most riders will find refreshing. You’ll get a rear-mounted cargo rack, fenders over both 26 by 4-inch tires, an integrated headlight, an integrated taillight that provides brake lighting and turn signal functionality, as well as a backlit LCD screen for performance data and setting adjustments, and more.
