Segway unveils the Myon and Muxi e-bikes and the Xaber 300 electric dirt bike at CES 2026

Hot out of CES 2026, Segway has unveiled three new e-bikes alongside some new accessories ( specifically tailored for these models. With the success the brand has been having since last year’s reveal of the Xafari and Xyber e-bikes, it’s no surprise that the popular brand is further expanding its newest series of commuting solutions. Two of these new e-bikes are aiming to not only fill the broad accessibility space of its previous models, but also further integrate and improve Segway’s already impressive lineup of smart tech, while the third of these models comes as an even higher-end adrenaline rush for off-roading thrill seekers. Release dates are staggered, with one of the e-bikes already available for purchase, while the other two (and the accessories) are going to be released across spring and summer. Head below to get the full rundown on what to expect.

Before we get into the individual performance and specs for all these e-bikes, let’s go over the shared features for the first two models – the Myon and Muxi e-bikes, which boast the brand’s updated Intelligent Ride System. Unfortunately, information on the last of the e-bikes, Segway’s Xaber 300 electric dirt bike, is limited, with the company promising to release more when closer to its official launch.

Intelligent Ride System features at a glance:

  • Airlock wireless proximity security
  • Apple Find My and Segway GPS
  • Lost Mode
  • Segway IOT (internet of things)
  • Algorithm 2.0 adaptive pedal assistance
  • Multi-color high-resolution smart TFT display
  • Intelligent lighting system
  • Real-time health and fitness data syncing

You may already be familiar with most of these features if you’ve been a fan of the Xafari and Xyber e-bikes over the last year, with things once again starting at the multi-layer security in the form of the airlock wireless proximity security, which activates the mechanical locks and shuts down any access to the system when unauthorized users try anything after you’ve walked away. Not only does it do this, but any tampering will trigger the system to sound an alarm (which increases in volume over time) while also sending you immediate, real-time alerts until it’s been deactivated.

That’s not all you’re getting in terms of security, as you’ll also find Apple Find My integration, as well as Segway’s GPS dual-component tracking, letting you always know where your e-bike is at any given moment. There’s the same IOT (internet of things) inclusion, too, which works with the GPS to provide remote monitoring, control through the app, over-the-air updates, as well as both bike/user and bike/battery cloud binding – those latter features being easily activatable through the new lost mode that immediately disables the e-bike and/or battery in cases of theft.

We’re seeing similar adaptive pedal assistance that we saw in last year’s releases, which can automatically adjust outputs after sensing changes in terrain like acceleration, deceleration, resistance, gravity, tilt, and inertia – plus, it can now tell whether you have one foot off the pedal when stopped, too. It achieves this smarter support via either the torque sensor on the Myon e-bike or the cadence sensor on both the Myon and Muxi e-bikes, in conjunction with an inertial measurement unit that uses accelerometer and gyroscope data to feed into the algorithm.

There’s also the continued addition of the multi-color, 2.4-inch smart TFT displays that can adjust its own brightness so you’ll always see the information on the screen, as well as on-display navigation, real-time riding metrics, connection/control of music from the rider’s phone and even the same control for phone calls. You’ll also find the brand’s intelligent lighting system for the automatic headlights (both high and low beams available), which can now integrate with the compatible rearview radar accessory.

Segway’s Myon e-bike arrives as a leisurely commuter

The first of these e-bikes (which also happens to be the lone model releasing today for purchase) is Segway’s Myon Commuter e-bike, which is officially open for purchase at $1,999.99 shipped.

It’s been designed for folks looking to enjoy leisurely cruises around the neighborhood, town, or to get you to and from work without relying on gas vehicles, with it boasting selectable class 1, 2, or 3 modes. While it starts as a step-thru model, it comes compatible with the brand’s new removable toptube accessory that converts it to a traditional diamond frame for altered aesthetics, improved torsional rigidity, and allows for additional accessories like a frame bag, for example.

“We designed Myon to be an everyday bike for every type of rider. It’s equally at home on a daily city commute as it is on a pleasure cruise along the coast or in the countryside.”

The Myon e-bike’s motor comes with a 500W nominal output, which pairs with the 722Wh battery in order to reach speeds as high as 28 MPH, while also providing pedal assistance support for up to 80 miles on each full charge. It’s been given “+/-” buttons on a mounted control module for easier e-shifting, which in turn is connected to the servo control unit mounted next to the rear derailleur via a standard shift cable. Not only does this make the system compatible with most standard derailleurs, but it also keeps the cable length minimal to reduce wear,
stretch, and maintenance.

What’s more, you can fine-tune the shifting amongst the in-app smart controls, which Segway promises “doesn’t require mechanical skill or knowledge – plus, the e-bike’s components are all powered by the battery, so there’s no need to remember charging individual things. It will also receive any OTA updates that allow for future improvements, features, and upgrades to e-shift performance.

Lastly, there is the TurboTunedTM, which comes as Segway’s method of optimizing its performance and efficiency for both the motor and the battery. Furthermore, working with the new Algorithm 2.0 tech, it makes sure that every component of the powertrain is all in sync with one another, continually adjusting power for terrain and rider needs. This results in even stronger performance than you might assume, seeing it carry a 500W nominal motor rating, giving you more natural performance output at the same time that it conserves the travel range and efficiency when demands on it are lower.

Segway’s Muxi e-bike is where retro cool meets modern

Segway’s Muxi (pronounced “moo-shee”) e-bike is a short-tail model that blends utility, versatility, style, and a compact design to meet the vast array of rider needs that vary person to person. It boasts a low stand-over height with an upright, comfortable riding position, with Segway wanting it to be a ride that folks can truly make their own via the many upcoming accessories that are slated to hit the market alongside the e-bike in March. This model will arrive then with the lowest price tag of all the e-bikes, starting at $1,699.99 shipped.

“I’m really excited about Muxi. It blends the laidback comfort of a beach cruiser with the stability of a Dutch cargo bike. If Myon is an everyday sedan, Muxi is the cool, fun, surf van you take to the beach with all your friends.”

Its motor comes bearing a nominal rating of 750W with a slightly smaller 716Wh battery than the Myon, with similar selectable classes of either 1 or 2, that can max out at 20 MPH and carry you for up to 80 miles. This model sports a single-speed drivetrain paired with a direct-drive motor for better ease of use, packed with features like the hill start assistance that prevents rollbacks should you ever be starting your journeys on inclines, providing you with more confidence while descending and reducing the brake wear – plus, there’s even a regenerative brake here for greater efficiency, too.

You’ll find the brand’s latest iteration of its Traction Control System, detecting wheelspin and modulating the power to keep the e-bike under the rider’s control. That system, alongside the Intelligent Ride System’s smart tech, is Segway’s aim to make the Muxi e-bike “as thoroughly modern as it is utilitarian.”

Segway’s Xaber 300 is built from the dirt up for adrenaline

While Segway is using CES 2026 to introduce its new Xaber (pronounced say-br) Electric Dirt Bike, information is sadly limited, with the company saying that they will release more when we get closer to its launch sometime in spring or summer. We do have some information about what you can expect, as well as the knowledge that it will carry a price tag of $5,299.99 shipped, once available.

This new adrenaline-rushing model was inspired by the X1000 prototype that competed in the Future Mission 1000 experimental low-emissions vehicle class of the 2025 Dakar Rally, with it offering higher performance for off-road electric adrenaline.

“This marks another major step forward in Segway’s strategy to broaden its electric mobility portfolio and make high-performance electric transportation and recreation accessible to riders of all lifestyles.”

Despite it being designed for off-road performance, the Xaber 300 will, surprisingly, feature the same innovative tech that is seen on Segway’s other light electric vehicles. There will be three power modes available here, which bring the equivalent output to 150, 200, and 300cc gas engines that “make it like three bikes in one and eliminate the need for riders to purchase bigger bikes as they progress.”

For folks who are experienced riders looking to make the most of an all-electric platform, it’s been given a virtual electronic clutch that simulates mechanical clutches, so that you’ll find familiar performance as you would on a motorcycle. The Traction Control System on this model also features selectable settings for various terrain types, allowing riders to set the maximum wheelie angle amongst the smart controls to tailor things to their skill progression. There’s even going to be added parental controls, including the ability to set speed limitations and geo-fencing – all through the companion app. Segway boasts that this electric dirt bike will even offer “a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio of 24.7 percent and be backed by a 2-year warranty on key components (battery, motor, frame), 1-year on the complete bike.”

“We’ve always been a technology forward company pushing the boundaries of light electric vehicles in efficiency, performance and smart features. We’re excited to introduce an evolution of that innovation, extending beyond transportation solutions to offer a truly thrilling, electric, off-road experience for enthusiasts.”
