Segway introduces four new Navimow robot mower series at CES 2026 with preorders opening soon

Segway is having a very busy morning at CES 2026, as the brand unveiled three new e-bikes (one of which is now open for purchase), while also introducing the world to four of its latest autonomous mowing series – two of which will be opening for pre-orders later this month. These new models have been designed to automate lawn care needs more easily without the need to rely on perimeter wires or antenna reference stations. Navimow has even partnered with RoboSense for select models in this new-generation fleet, integrating solid-state LiDAR tech into the mix, among other innovations. Head below to get a rundown on what you can expect from each of these new series of robots, as well as get upcoming pre-order information for two of them.

Segway’s new flagship X4 series brings greater precision

Designed and built to provide “automotive-grade performance to large and challenging landscapes,” the new X4 series of robot lawn mowers comes with two varying options – and they will both be available for preorder starting on January 16, 2026. The first is the more standard X430 robot that will fetch $2,499 shipped and tackle up to 1 full acre on each of its charges, while the more powerful X450 robot will carry a $2,999 price tag and handle up to 1.5 acres per charge.

Residential coverage is getting serious upgrades here, as these new models boast the brand’s new turf-safe Xero-turn AWD system that can handle up to 40-degree slopes/inclines, which is quite the impressive dunk on alternate brands that often only handle up to 20-degree slopes before having some trouble. They both perform zero-turn-like maneuvers for more agile U-turn movements that won’t stretch or damage your grass. In conjunction, there’s also the Traction Control System that adjusts its own torque to prevent slipping and provide plenty of traction on looser, slippery, or low-traction terrain.

Its navigation relies on a triple-threat system of RTK, 360° VSLAM, and VIO technologies, which “enable centimeter-level mapping accuracy.” For the RTK, specifically, which Segway assures fans will remain free to users for life, there’s no need to deal with a physical antenna, as it has an “always-on” signal.

The cutting system is also seeing an upgrade here, as they’ve been equipped with MowMentum Cutting, made up of a dual-cutting deck, 12 thick blades, and dual 180W motors. Everything is managed and run by the updated algorithm paired alongside EdgeSense tech for premium cutting even in dense or tall grass. According to Segway, the X4’s fast-charging system, alongside its other upgraded features, “achieves three times the mowing efficiency of its market competitors, capable of mowing up to one acre in just 11 hours.”

They come with IPX6 waterproof construction, as well as other smart features like Apple Find My, a rain detection sensor, and integration options for Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Home Assistant.

Segway’s i2 series steps up from its first generation

More tailored for everyday needs across a variety of possible properties, the Segway Navimow i2 series comes split between i2 AWD variants (which will open for preorder January 16) and an i2 LiDAR variant (with no slated date for preorders yet).

Starting with the models aimed to release first, the Navimow i2 AWD robots bring along similar turf-safe Xero-turn AWD performance to their duties as the above flagship models. They’re continuing the three-wheel drive system inclusions that we saw with the first generation, allowing for 24-degree slop climbing, enhanced capabilities for going over rough terrain, and higher stability on slopes, muddy ground, and/or slippery ground. According to the brand, it’s “third wheel is energy-efficient and will extend runtime by up to 30 percent compared to its previous edition.”

There are two models in this corner of the series, with the more standard i206 AWD robot able to tackle up to 0.15 acres on each charge for $999 shipped, while the i210 AWD robot tackles up to 0.25 acres per charge at $1,299 shipped.

On the flip side, homeowners who have to contend with more complicated landscapes will likely find the Navimow i215 LiDAR robot a more appropriate assistant, as it comes with solid-state LiDAR that “scans nearly 200,000 points per second to create an ultra-detailed spatial map.” This upgraded inclusion provides greater navigation precision, including under trees, through narrow paths, or even at night – tackling up to 0.37 acres per charge.

The LiDAR is paired with AI-driven vision for improved obstacle recognition and avoidance, as well, able to “detect objects as small as one centimeter and identify more than 200 types of obstacles,” including moving animals, and suspended garden equipment. Due to this, you might also be excited to learn that this variant features GeoSketch, too, delivering life-like 3D maps of yards, which you can customize in the companion app.

The Segway Navimow H2 upgrades with more intelligence

Another of the second-generation series, the Segway Navimow H2 robots step up their mowing game with greater intelligence, control, and performance from their predecessors, featuring EFLS LiDAR+ that combines LiDAR with Network RTK and vision tech for its own triple navigation system. This feature allows for seamless switching of positioning modes “in just 1 millisecond,” which provides uninterrupted operations regardless of the environment.

Strength and precision has been a main focus here, as the H2 robot mower’s enhanced obstacle avoidance mimics similar performance from the LiDAR i2 robot – “detecting objects as small as one centimeter and identifying more than 200 types. What’s more the LiDAR drives its Terrain Adapt feature, as well as its Electronic Stability Control, delivering up to 24-degree incline climbing. You’ll also find the same GeoSketch and auto-mapping here and will ultimately arrive with two options: the H210 robot lawn mower that tackles up to 0.25 acres per charge, and the H220 robot lawn mower that tackles up to 0.5 acres per charge.

The Navimow Terranox redefines commercial mowing

While the above robot mowers are more focused on giving homeowners plenty of options, Segway is also introducing us to a solution for commercial properties and professional landscaping with its Navimow Terranox series of robots. This series is broken into two options: the CM120M1 robot that can manage up to 3 acres, and the CM240M1 robot that can manage up to 6 acres.

We’re not getting as much information on these models as the residential mowers, but what we can tell you is that these two robots will combine AWD capabilities with drop and mow simplicity – “capable of mowing the equivalent of a full football field in a single day.”

Alongside all these new robotic lawn mowers, Navimow will also soon offer Fleet Management software for professionals who will be utilizing multiple devices at once – all streamlined through the in-app controls. The brand is also promising to soon offer dedicated care and support for business owners on these models, providing a more worry-free experience during operations.
