UGREEN’s 15W Qi2 3-in-1 MagFlow charger quickly became one of my favorites when I went hands-on with it earlier this year. The new model we’re checking out today builds on it with faster 25W Qi2.2 charging and a more compact design that fits better on smaller desks and packs easily for travel. I’ve been using UGREEN’s latest 3-in-1 Qi2.2 25W charging station for a few weeks now, and it has honestly been an excellent upgrade – especially since my desk has gotten more crowded with some new gear. Hit the jump to learn more about this charger in detail.

gadgetnewsonline’ Take
The first thing I noticed about the upgraded MagFlow 3-in-1 Qi2.2 25W charger is its slimmer, more compact design compared to the previous model. Despite the bump in power, it’s actually smaller, making it far more travel-friendly and even easier to place in tight desk spaces. It’s officially replacing the 2-in-1 charger in my travel kit I’ll be carrying for my upcoming trip. Notably, the charging pad now sits flush instead of protruding, giving it a sleeker profile. Otherwise, it keeps the familiar foldable design and the built-in Apple Watch puck that pops out from the base.

This UGREEN MagFlow model supports up to 25W wireless charging for the latest iPhone 17 lineup, and even the iPhone 16 Pro can hit those faster Qi2.2 speeds with the latest iOS 26 version. The built-in Apple Watch puck and AirPods pad both output 5W, which is standard for most chargers in this category. In my testing with an iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 26), an Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro, the iPhone went from 5% to 50% in just over 30 minutes. That’s pretty quick for wireless charging standards, thanks to the latest Qi2.2 support. The Apple Watch and AirPods pads performed as expected at 5W, and the SE 3 took about 75 minutes to go from 10% to full, in line with other 5W chargers I’ve used.

None of UGREEN’s latest Qi2.2 chargers on the market include active cooling, and the absence of it really shows here with both the phone and the charging pad getting warm during use. It’s not a deal-breaker as the devices still charge quickly, but it’s worth noting, especially since some competing models do offer active cooling.
Just as I mentioned in my review of the other Qi2.2 25W 3-in-1 charger, I once again find myself wishing this unit had built-in cooling. Heat management is a known challenge with Qi2.2 25W chargers, and active cooling would have gone a long way here. It’s true that this unit include safeguards to monitor temperature and prevent overheating, but an active cooling system would have made a clear difference. I also wish UGREEN had added a small display – not just for charging status and power output, but even for fun touches like custom animations or emoji faces, similar to its Uno series.

Looking beyond some of those obvious omissions, though, the UGREEN MagFlow 3-in-1 Qi2.2 25W charging station is a solid upgrade for a desktop or bedside setup, especially if you want to take advantage of the newer 25W Qi2.2 speeds. The upgraded, improved design even makes it more compact and easier to carry while traveling. It offers reliable, convenient performance to keep all your devices powered, whether you’re charging overnight or working at your desk. And the fact that you can grab one for $89.99 shipped right now — complete with a 45W power adapter and a USB-C cable – makes it an excellent value among Qi2.2 25W chargers. Competing options from brands like Anker and Belkin cost noticeably more, so this is a good option overall for the price.
UGREEN, as previously mentioned, even has a 2-in-1 version of this charger, which might be better suited if you only have an iPhone and an AirPods charging case to power.
