The Black Friday and Cyber Monday Apple deals were largely focused on AirPods, if not for any other reason than the particularly notable all-time lows that headlined this year’s massive sale event. That said, there were some wonderful deals on the Mac side things, and the absolute most affordable current-generation machine is still down at the Black Friday/Cyber Monday pice – M4 Mac mini from $479 shipped.
Amazon is currently offering Apple’s most affordable M4 Mac mini configuration with the 16GB RAM/256GB storage setup at $479 shipped, which is $120 off the $599 list price. The 24GB/512GB M4 mini – the machine I am typing this article on right now – is also still sitting down at the $869 holiday pricing we have been tracking over the last week or so ($130 off).

Deals on Mac mini haven’t exactly been hard to come by, but seeing prices like we are right now are. The base model, if you ask me, is a wonderful value at the full $599 list price, a great buy at the $500 deal price we have featured a number of times now, and an absolute steal at $479 – the fact that one can even get full, complete access to an M4 chip running the latest macOS at a price like this is still kind of incredible to me.
I, for one, run the 24GB/512GB machine, but I by and large don’t really even need the extra horsepower on a daily. This move is just for running more demanding Logic Pro projects, most of which could do without anyway – I would otherwise be just fine with the base model and you probably will too when it comes to browsing, YouTubing, documenting, socializing, and so forth.
