Amazon just dropped the most affordable 13-inch M4 MacBook Air to the best price ever! Just when we thought the $250 price drops were going to be it, Amazon just slashed the price on Apple’s current-generation 13-inch M4 MacBook Air down to $738 shipped– that’s $261 off and the lowest price we have ever tracked online from a reputable source.
Amazon is now offering the base model M4 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and the 256GB internal SSD down at $738.04 shipped. Regularly $999, this new all-time low delivers over $260 in savings at $11 under the price just about no one thought could get any better.
In our experience, when Amazon undercuts its own Black Friday all-time lows on big-ticket items like this it generally means one of two things: all of them are about to get lower, or this is a one-off deal only the most lucky soon-to-be M4 MacBook Air owners will get a shot at – we are betting it’s the latter.
This is not a round number discount – this suggests you’re looking at a random price drop that won’t land across the lineup. Amazon is not likely to put all colors and configs at $260.96 off if you see what I’m getting at. This might very well mean this special discount will only ever be live on this one Midnight configuration and potentially not for very long – Amazon is know to do this sort of thing on the Midnight configs too.
We, of course, can’t know for sure, but history would suggest as much.
