Nintendo announces new NES and Game Boy titles for Switch Online: Battletoads, Ninja Gaiden II, more

The Nintendo Black Friday deals are in full swing now with solid 50% price drops across loads of physical Switch games, a solid eShop Cyber sale, and new all-time low pricing on some of he 2025 amiibo releases, but we are taking a quick break to take a look at some new Nintendo Classics NES and Game Boy titles this morning.

New Switch Online NES and GameBoy titles

Nintendo just announced the latest addition to its Switch Online NES and Game Boy libraries, and we are getting some serious classics.

Sometimes these new additions can be a touch underwhelming when they are void of first-party mascots and magical plumbers and Master Sword-welding heroes, but today we are getting some sweet, albeit tough as nails, third-party titles if you ask me: Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos and BATTLETOADS on NES, as well as Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters and BIONIC COMMANDO in the Game Boy library.

Scope out the new NES, Game Boy – Nintendo Classics – November 2025 Game Updates video below:

All four Nintendo Classics are now playable via Switch Online.

Okay nice, that’s a solid little injection to the Switch Online library as we head into the holidays, but for this week it’s all about the Black Friday deals – check em’ out below:
